America's Auto Auction started out as a great place to work. But over the past couple months, things started to go south. When I first started with our original GM, it was more relaxed, then it turned into constantly being watched and micromanaged to the point of not being able to take a break.Apart from the sudden micromanagement, almost everyone there is unprofessional from employees to management. I have never worked anywhere that had this much favoritism and family members in management over one another. They also promote people who receive no training or have any clue of how to effectively communicate as a manager. This place is also filled with so much drama from grown adults acting like they are still in highschool and it's hard to ignore and stay away from because it's always in your face no matter how hard you try.I started out loving my job but torwards the end, I absolutely hated waking up in the mornings to clock in. It became a unnecessary stress in my life that put my mental health at a greater risk of a breakdown than I've ever had.It also says something about the professionalism of a company when you put in a 2 week notice and tell them you'll bring in a professional typed 2 week notice to bring in, they tell you to bring in your uniform and not to worry about coming back.
It has improved vastly over the past year. Excited about all the changes. Inventory has been tons easier to process.
ABC has always treated dealers like family and its just a great place to do business.
