I have been going to Dr. Ware for years. However, my last appointment he was rude and degrading. I walked out without an exam. I LOVE the girls that work there but I CANNOT and will not support Dr. Ware. I actually waited several months to see if he would call as some sort of follow up, knowing that I left due to not being appreciative of his lack of communication skills when I walked out but evidently he could care less about his patients. Sad and very unprofessional eye doctor. The girls on his team has helped build him a small empire, with their professionalism and product buying abilities but Dr. Ware is destroying that one patient at a time.

One day I was going to be 5 minutes late, called them on my way, which I love 1.5 hrs from here and my doctor referred me to them. I was told if I was 1 minute late they would not see me for my field vision exam vecause they have to have people on time for them and stick.to their schedule since the test are 30 minites long. I reschedule and then wait in the lobby 10 minutes after my scheduled time. This place is an absolute joke. My doctor and I are switching where I have this test at during my next visit. I wouldn't allow my cat to come here.
Horrible customer service. My daughter purchased designer sunglasses with prescription lenses and they failed to tell her they did not put the logo on the lenses. Have personally bought 6 pairs of prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses (at 3 different eyeglass providers) and every single time they put the logo on the glasses. When I called to ask about why it wasn't put on the glasses, I was told they would call me back. I waited 6 hours and they did not call back so I called again. I was put on hold for almost 15 minutes. I hung up and called again and finally got a person that told me they didn't put the logo on the designer sunglasses. Horrible eyeglass provider and horrible service...do not use them!
Been going to this place for years but I wont be going back. The doctors are very courteous and insightful but when it comes out to the lobby area with their employees, it seems as if they don't notice any of their customers. After my eye exam, I waited almost 30 minutes until I got the courage to go up to ask someone when I could get consultated for frames. During that 30 minutes, 2 employees were working on customers and the rest were sitting around gossiping and talking. I thought after 10 minutes that they had turns or something they needed to take with customer, but someone just came in and they got to it right away. I sat for so long and they didnt even notice. Basically they lost my folder somewhere, saw me sit there for a very long time and didnt do anything about it. Very unhappy. They need better employees who pay attention to their customers.
Stay clear of McPeak. Lots of good eye doctors in Bowling Green. They are not one of them. My daughter had an eye exam two days ago and she was only seen by some tech (probably a Ross medical student) who told her her eyes havent changed and gave her the same script as last year even though my daughter (24) told her that her left eye was blurry. Her entire exam (if thats what their calling that lasted less than 10 minutes. When I called and complained and told them that we can not get new glasses with this lame eye exam. They had us come back (should we have too?) And the doctor saw her and yes her left eye needed to be increased. Never going back there again. They lost 3 family members today. We noticed that they prefer to treat all the government cases and not the working people like ourselves with insurance that we pay for. Also please note that the women who work there from the receptionist and everyone in between are rude and nasty and mean. Even before we complained. People do yourselves a favor and find a good eye doctor elsewhere. I wonder how many people have gone to McPeak and now are walking around with the wrong glasses or contacts because of the sh**ty ey exams and dont even know it.
Love and Warden eye care has the best Dr.'s & Staff. Everyone is always friendly and caring. You couldn't ask for better Dr.'s! I've never had better glasses or thinner lenses!
Dr. Ware and staff were so friendly and accommodating to my needs. Dr. Ware was very thorough with his exam, explained everything to me & answered all of my questions. When it came time to pick out my glasses the staff were very helpful assisting me with what looked best. Thank you for a pleasant experience!
Beware ! Stay away from this place! They treat their patients like cattle. The care could be considered quackery. My poor mother's eyes were so irritated that they were blood red and burned constantly. The Dr said some lame excuse and told her to keep using her eye drops. Finally she went to a different Dr., and learned that she was allergic to the preservatives in the drops and should never have been advised to keep using. Many more details to this story, but suffice it to say....STAY AWAY!
