They told me the price was $150 then when I gave her my card she took $200! Such a rip off do t let these people scam you make sure before they touch you hair you confim the price.

This salon‘s run by the most unsympathetic, cold, rude, control freaks I’ve met in any business in my entire 65 years. The former owner was wonderful & had enough stylists to ensure customers were seen in a reasonable length of time.My car was being worked on and my husband was extremely busy, so my niece drop me off a little before noon. That would give them plenty of time to do my hair before an important conference. I was shocked when the girl told me they were booked up—for the rest of the day—it was only noon! It was a catastrophe! My phone battery had died and had no car. I was stuck there.I explained this and begged her to fit me in somewhere. Anywhere. I got a stoney I-don’t-care look, and rude “We’re booked full!”The salon wasn’t the bustling one I knew. There was only her and one other stylist in the entire shop. Where were all the other stylists that use to work there? Did they quit? (Not surprised)I asked if I could use the phone to call my husband. Her response was a cold “If you must” eye roll. As expected, my husband was extremely busy and couldn’t answer the phone. I was getting frustrated after 3 or 4 tries—the owner out right angry. What could I do?Fortunately, my husband called back at that moment. Seeing my number on the caller ID, I quickly answered it so it wouldn’t bother her any more than I had. She went ballistic. “THIS IS MY SALON AND MY PHONE! I DON’T WANT YOU FOR A CUSTOMER! LEAVE!”I apologized and told her I’d wait for my husband in the empty chairs by the door. I have Lupus, can’t stand long, and have to stay out of the sun. While I was waiting, another lady came in. Curious, I asked her how early she’d come to get on the list. She said she called the night before for an appointment. Shortly after that, two Policemen arrived! They explained the shop owner called because I was disturbing the peace by using the phone, and answering it without her permission. I told them not to worry; I had no intention of ever coming back.
Very disappointed with Rachel Olpin. My wife went in and had a very specific look in mind and even had pictures, but when all was said and done, it looked nothing like what she wanted. This was all due to Rachel being over-scheduled, so she had to rush. And for how much she charges ($175), I expected way better results.
I have been going to this salon for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The stylists here are very experienced and make you feel right at home. I change my hair color often and they always get it just right. I would recommend this salon to anyone!
This is the best salon ever! It has been in Bountiful for over 30 years and just recently moved to a new beautiful location.
February of this year I visited this place in hope of getting some highlights………OMG, I had a nightmare experience!! When I left the salon I was DEVASTATED. The worst highlighting job I’ve EVER had! I am not sure what she did but my hair turned orange and yellow. I did go back to get it fix but there was no much she could do and to top it off my hair got super burned. My hair is literally braking off. I am incredibly upset and can’t even straighten my hair because you can see all the lines because highlights were not processed enough . Now I have to go someplace else and pay more money for my hair to be fixed. I would not recommend this salon! Don’t waste your money!!!!
Best Salon EVER!!! Jamie is very customer service oriented!!! She can do anything you want. I have gone to her a couple of times and recently she just did my eyelash extensions!!! I love them :)
I realize the employees aren't good enough to work at a true salon ( clientele only returns when happy ) but to mess up a child's cut as terribly as a '5 year employee' did is bad enough - but to call back TWICE and not receive a courtesy return call from the manager ? She clearly cares as much as the employee .... SAVE YOURSELF ... stay away
Go elsewhere! I was overcharged and left with obvious dye on both sides of my face. On the phone she offered a free cut for locks of love (True) if I also got highlights. I was overcharged for the color ($70 for chin length hair!). Highlights not processed enough and orange. (To her credit the lighting was bad.) Stylist was Stephanie.
Steph is great! Personable. Knowledgeable. knew what I wanted. Very talkative and friendly.
