// The Good (not much) We knew we wanted a 2006 Honda Odyssey and these guys had 6 or 7 so it was nice to be able to look at a bunch at the same place and have options and easily see differences in how well each one was taken care of to compare and see common issues for that year of car. The salesman let us test drive without him in the car which made it easy to focus on the car and not him. Also he didn't rush us or "linger" while we were looking. // The Bad I had to pry for information. The salesman didn't tell me any known issues or proactively give me a carfax, he never gave me one (I failed to ask). After telling him our concerns he pulled out a receipt of what he'd fixed. There was a chip in the window that I didn't notice and was never advised of beforehand. They don't do a 90k service on their cars so you'll have to haggle that out of them. I didn't get a warranty. Only got one key. (found out as I handed them the checks) Gas tank was empty when I came to pick up the car and deliver the checks. DON'T TRUST THAT THEY'LL REGISTER YOUR CAR: They told me they would take care of registering the car and getting the plates and I wouldn't have to worry about it and I'd just receive them in the mail. Never got them, so I called to follow up 30 days after I bought the car and they said they were on it and we'd have them soon. I had to call 5 times all with promises that they'd call me back and update me and never did I get a call back. Finally they told me they had them. I called the morning they said they'd have them and that I was going to pick them up on the way home from work and they said they'd be there. I got there and no body was there. I don't think they would have done it at all if I didn't push them. They got them to me one day before the temp expired and only after I told them I was frustrated. Very unprofessional. The more I talked to them the less I trusted them but I'd already bought the car and with no warranty. I think we got lucky. They're not what I would call "helpful". I wouldn't buy a car from them again and if you decide to visit make sure you've done your homework beforehand and you pay attention to the details before you sign and deals.
My experience was terrible. I look for good customer service and honesty whenever I go out and buy a car. Hedberg Solomon Auto had terrible customer service. I was negotiating the price of a car and the salesman (Jared) told me he needed to talk to his paint guy because he was going to paint the bumper and needed to know how much it was going to cost before he gave me the price. Jared told me he would call me the next day (Friday). He never called so I called him and he was boating and the person I talked to knew nothing about our conversation. On Saturday I went to look at the car again and the person I talked to said it sold Saturday morning. I was very frustrated that Jared did not follow through with his promise to call me. He was boating both Friday and Saturday. Apparently I was not important enough to call back. If that is how they treat their customers stay away.Also we went to look at 2 cars that were listed online and they were both sold. Their listings online are not very up-to-date. Wasted trip out there.
I recently purchased an Acura MDX from this business. Prior to purchasing, we requested additional photos of the vehicle. One of the photos had been edited to remove a scratch on the dash board.We also had the vehicle inspected prior to purchase. The inspector noted the scratch, a hole in one of the seats, and a broken engine mount. Solomon was a little indignant when presented with the findings. We purchased the vehicle anyway because the price of the vehicle was in line.I am still put-off by their attempts to hide the scratch by modifying the photograph. It was a clear attempt to deceive a potential buyer.I am happy with the vehicle but a buyer must be very cautious with these operators.

I paid 9200.00 for a used 2007 Honda Ofyssey in July of 2016 they told me they replaced a bunch of stuff A new Radiator but after 1 week I had a issue with the hose coming off the radiator not once but 3 times and now I have a van that is a headache to me and they never ever gave proof of any repairs
I bought a used vehicle for my son from Hedberg Auto- 1996 to be exact! Everything on their site stated it ran perfectly, very clean and well maintained. We test drove with no problem. Driving home to South Ogden the car overheated and we had to pull over in Farmington and leave the car. My son was beyond disappointed. I'm thinking - did I ask enough questions - I just bought this car "As-Is" and believed everything on the site. Upon contacting them, they could not have been more helpful! Took the car to their mechanic who fixed a problem that turned out to be easy. They did not hesitate to pay for the repair, they told me to contact them if there were any other problems! The car runs great. It is so nice to deal with someone who just does the right thing! Thank you!!
I would recommend Hedberg Solomon to anyone! Our experience eight years ago was not a good one when we purchased our last car, so I went to Hedberg with high hopes last month. They were attentive and considerate in every way. No high pressure sales, just class and efficiency from every member of their staff. Excellent customer service, and the transaction to purchase our vehicle was seamless! They made absolutely sure that we were satisfied in every way--what a great experience!
