This ensures that all of our employees are properly trained to understand the complexity of your prescription and to find the best optical solutions to meet your needs. We are a third generation, family-owned and operated optical store. We have catered to the optical needs of Boulder and the surrounding areas for fifty years. We have been Voted Best of Boulder by the Daily Camera, Boulder Weekly, and Colorado Daily for many years!On-site Custom Lab - Our lab can achieve optics most labs won't even attempt for extreme tolerance. Having the only onsite custom lens-finishing lab in Boulder allows us to control quality assuring your lenses are finished to perfection. Same day service can be provided in many cases. We meet or exceed ANSI-78 standards. On-site Eye Examinations - For your convenience, an independent doctor of optometry is located right in our store. Eye care services include routine eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and management of ocular disease. Competent and Friendly People - Our optical staff has over 100 years combined experience, all ABO Certified. We will help you select a style and work with you as long as necessary to make sure your new eyewear fits correctly and comfortably.

        Great Service!

        My 12 year old daughter had recently gotten the news that she needs glasses and was so nervous about her first pair. We went to Aspen Eyewear and saw Dr. Bollenbacher who immediately put her at ease and gave her an eye exam. After the exam, the staff enthusiastically helped her search for her first pair of glasses, and by the end of the process she couldn't wait to get them. The next day her glasses were ready and she has loved them since! Thanks to Aspen Eyewear for helping my daughter get through this milestone! My family and I will be returning customers.

        experience!!

        Aspen eyewear was a great place to be fit with my new progressive lenses. The service was unsurpassed, the selection was great, and they have a brand new machine called the "Eye Terminal". Not only was my confidence boosted but I am seeing great from my very difficult rx.... Thanks Aspen Eyewear.

        Me and my family (mom, brothers, aunt, wife, kids) have gone here for over 10 years and we love this place. They have great prices and the best service and cool glasses. I have had prior experiences elsewhere with incorrect prescriptions so from now on I'm sticking to this place because they get it right the first time around.
