Kenmore Army & Navy Stores

This is the best Army Navy I've ever shopped. This store has a huge selection and the prices are very low. Finally, there is a place which has good men's clothing that doesn't rip you off. Check it out!

During my college days I shopped at Kenmore Army and Navy when it was located in Kenmore Square. I was glad to find them now in Downtown Crossing. It is a huge store with two floors of all the great clothing I remembered, with really good prices. When you enter the store, you are greeted by a giant boot and a what looks like a space man in a shiny metal suit.

The store sells camping and working gear along with all the military clothing you would expect in an Army/Navy Store. The store has a very large selection of Dickies brand clothing for men, women and children. I never hear of Dickie Girl, but they have that too. Other brands of clothing include Carhartt, Propper, Rothco, Lee, Alpha to name a few I noticed. They also have a large assortment of Dickies Medical Scrubs. It wouldn't have occured to me to look for scrubs in an Army and Navy store, but wow, the selection is great!

The shoe and boot department is large as well. Sneakers from $9.95 and combat boots from $29.95. Lots of big names here too, Timberland, Magnum, Sorel, Chippewa, Corcoran, Bates, Altama and Harley Davidson boots to name a few. All these appeared to me to be discounted.

There are all types of coats and jackets sold there too. I saw heavy leather biker jackes for only $99. There are new coats and jackets like Field Jackets, work coats, Pea Coats (I have my eye on one for next winter only $123). There are used military coats as well. This is the place to buy your warm winter clothes for sure! I wish I knew about the flannel lined jeans and the military thermal underware sooner!

The store also has a large selection of T-shirts, both military and non. Next Halloween, I know where to get my Swat costume, complete with holster and hand cuffs.

They have Zippo lighters, Swiss Army Knifes, Leatherman tools, night vision too.

I bet the people at Macys aren't happy having a store with high quality clothes with low prices right across the street. I highly recommend this store!
