I joined this agency back in 2015 and I must say that I have had SUCH AN AMAZING experience! From Boston Fashion Week to Providence Style Week to London Fashion week -- this agency is sending its models to some amazing places!
Although I originally went for an interview with the old directors, Joe & Gin Freeman, and had a terrible experience, since the new director, Nav Arora, came in the summer of 2015, he has completely re-vamped the agency and taken it to another level. I interviewed with Nav and felt as if I were getting much more since answers to the questions I had about joining the agency. I joined a little over a year ago, and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. I brought in my own pictures, and have been getting several jobs over the past year. I think people get discouraged when they do not get jobs during their first couple of months there, but you have to give it time and know that several models are being sent out on a daily basis. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving this agency a chance, they will help get you to your full potential.
I think they are sucks. Take the money but get nothing to do with you. And the people work there are not professional at all. Never waste your money and time. It doesn't matter how much it is.
Don't believe their reviews. I gave one star only because there is no Zero! It is really bad experience to talk with the low and rude people from there! Now I believe all the negative reviews of there I googled before. I believe the 5 stars are fake! I called for asking is there any Comp Card fee because I read a lots of review said they are sucks. Only charge your comp card fee for about several hundreds and doing nothing. First lady refuse to say anything the hang up and next time I called a guy prevent to can't hear me which is too stupid... Finally they picked with very bad attitude told me it's not required fee (which i don't believe so) and don't wait you say anything the rude man just hang up. I called again he picked the phone and said "I don't have answer for your question please come to the open call and don't call again! have a nice day"By this, I believe nobody will come to them.
Worked with them for about several years and loved the experience..joined when my son was 6 and averaged about 5-8 jobs per year for 3 years until he eventually moved on to preferring sports... We booked some great print shoots and TV commercials in Boston. Hopefully we'll be back at some point.
This is my experience....draw from it what you need to be informed. The wife interviewed us and said she would like to represent Kayla. I asked if she would be in better demand because she is biracial and the answer was yes. We paid for all the photos and they did come out really beautiful. We also paid additional money to be represented by the agency. I am told each and everytime I bring my daughter anywhere that she is beautiful (thank goodness she does not look like Mom) of course I am proud that Kayla has a great heart, a wonderful spirit and a jest for life...needless to say in the entire year she was represented she received only one call and then a return call after that she would not be needed for the casting call. I am more than disappointed in the company. Another issue is that they say they are working hard to get jobs but you have no idea what is being done on your behalf. Another very weird situation with the company is after the year was over I received a call the agency called but did not use my child's name but rather a different model-I know mistakes happen...but it was very strange.
Honesty is required when reviewing a service when you intend on helping others from falling into the well hidden pile of lies from Susan Lunetta. Find another agency. Travel or commute out of state if you wish to have your dreams come true. You will be coerced into paying an abundance ($650+)for mediocre head shots and asked to front another several hundred for enhancing or airbrushing . For starters ask her to show and prove her success stories that she chooses to mention during her monthly meetings. Pure lies. Yes LIES! If any success it may have been Barney Rubble and or Fred Flinstone she has had nothing to prove ever. PARENTS beware. You do want the best for your child and you do want to help in pursuit of their dreams but don't let this hook line and sinker of an agency ( as flaky as it is) reel you in. RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH. They aren't credited on any ads, or any commercials or magazines and I'm talking as far back as I've searched which was early 90's buyer beware. Travel if you must to find a suitable agency this is not it! Truth be told so help me GOD.
