Location
Amenities
At Camp Schultz we do things a little differently than at your average boarding kennel. We offer for every Camper three times a day to run in one of twelve running paddocks. We also have indoor/outdoor runs with the outdoor runs being completely covered and secure. This allows your pet to sit back and relax and enjoy the Bonita weather completely shaded. In their run they have their own bed and fresh water. At night they will sleep in their own sleeping area in our completely secure building. Our aim is to provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment for every pet boarded with us to make their stay as pleasant as possible and to provide ample outdoor daily exercise and fun activities for the dogs and indoor recreation time for cats. At night all animals are brought inside a locked secure building.

This is a wonderful, safe place for our little Tia. She is always as happy when we get there as she is when we pick her up. I appreciate the fact that they are so careful about receiving vet reports so we know there will be less chance of contagious illness. She has always been in great shape when we pick her up. The Schultz’ are professional dog people and their staff is excellent and caring.

A first-class facility I recommend it highly to all my friends and neighbors here at Mount Miguel Covenant Village, several I know have given it a try and recently a good friend took their two dogs in to board while moving from one home to another and asked for recommendations about grooming, I gave that a thumbs up as well. This was the worst experience my dogs have ever had. I read all of the reviews online and made a decision to leave my dogs with Camp Schultz. It was a big mistake, I would never consider doing it again. I left my two Dobermans and miniature dachshund with Zack on Saturday August 3rd. I explained to him that one of the doorman's had an ear infection and need to be treated with gentizol. He said that was no problem and that he was familiar with the medication and had it on site. I asked him to send me a picture of where they would be held. He told me they were short staffed but he would do it as soon as he had a chance. The following Monday I called Zack and ask him if you could send the picture. He told me he was short staffed and we do it as soon as he had a chance. He also told me that the dogs were not eating. The following Tuesday I called again and spoke to Jules. I asked her if she could send me the picture. SHE said she would when she had a chance. she also told me that dogs were not eating. Later on that day I received the picture. The following Sunday I picked up all three dogs. All 3 dogs had severe diarrhea, all three dogs were covered in urine and feces , the two Dobermans lost 5 pounds each, the Doberman with ear infection had blood and filth in both ears. The miniature dachshund had an ear infection and was very aggressive and angry. Was trying to dry hump the Dobermans repeatedly. something I would have stopped at home. The Miniature dachshund was wet, and smelt awful. The girl that handed him to me told me he smell that way because he was lying in water. The following Monday I immediately called Zack and informed him of my disgust and dissatisfaction with his services. I immediately told him I wanted to speak with the owners. He told me he handles all the complaints and get back to me. Later when we spoke he offered to wash the dogs. I told him that would not do and once again asked to speak to the owners. Zack was backpedaling evasive and flat out lied to me when he told me there were no signs of diarrhea. He call back later left a message saying that he would talk to the owners and have them call me as soon as they have a chance. That was last Monday today is Friday. No one has contacted me or left any messages. I have issued a chargeback from my credit card as Services were not rendered. If you take your pets to this facility after reading this comment there is no one else to blame but yourself. I would compare the staff at Camp Shultz as Zoo keepers.

I have two dogs boarded at Cam...

I have two dogs boarded at Camp Schultz, i am happy to know they each receive personal attention daily. I am always comfortable boarding my dogs here with the daily exercise, attention, upkeep and grooming and play time. My dogs are always happy to see the kennel staff, with the wonderful friendly and welcoming atmosphere, i would reccomend Camp Schultz to any of my friends, anyday.

I came into Camp Schultz without an appointment to get a tour of the facility. It was very clean, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I left my 2 dogs for a weekend getaway. When I came to pick up my pets, the staff gave me a full report on how my chihuahuas did while I was away. I would not hesitate to recommend Camp Schultz to my friends or family.
