My whole family and I have been coming to Berthas for many, many years now and we love it! Bertha and her staff are very friendly and professional. Bertha has become part of our family. Though we live far away this is the only place we like to come for our beauty needs. My wife gets her highlights hair dues and hair cuts here, my daughters and I get our hair cuts. Bertha make us feel very comfortable and treats us like family. I highly recommend this place. Be Be her stylist looked at the picture of her a dress she was going to wear for her picture, and said I have a style for you. My granddaughter looked like a princess on her picture day. I have been frequenting Serene hair salon for years. Generally when I am out and about people compliment my hair and ask if I go to the city. I am happy to say that no, I go to Serene Hair Design and that the owner, Christine does my hair and that I go on Mondays. It is a nice, professional and friendly atmosphere. I strongly recommend that you check them out.

The Razor's Edge is my go-to place for color and cuts. My stylist, Sherrie, has taken care of me for at least 20 years! She is efficient and knows exactly what I want.

April has been doing my hair off and on for 21 years. I recently went from a short natural hairstyle to a relaxed buzz cut. April gave me my first relaxer after being natural for 2 years. She gave me color but only color that was safe (a rinse) to use after a relaxer After having issues/breakage in the years prior I came back to her to do my hair. After speaking to April about my health conditions She recommended that I have my thyroid checked. April has exclusive training and knowledge in how most hair issues are related to the inner condition of the body esp women who are in childbearing years and/or approaching perimenopause/menopause. After having extensive blood work done it was found that I have an auto immune condition that affects my thyroid. She referred a specialist and I am on the road to recovery and my short hair is looking fabulous.

I recently relocated to Illinois & had been searching for a stylist. After speaking with April on the phone I was comfortable with her styling my hair. I told her what I was looking for & no questions asked she did it. I got a Pravana Keratin Treatment that left my hair silky, soft & healthy.
