Boise's Best detailed my 2002 Chevy Avalanche & did an amazing job! Great service, great staff, & literally it looks better than when I bought it. Would highly recommend to anyone with auto detail needs!
I worked with Jon in 2008 and attended 2 inservices he hosted. I have called for follow up advice and references for my real estate clients. They are always willing to assist.
I have a customer who lives in these apartments. Was delivering his furniture and pulled up to his apartment to unload. After unloading I asked a tenant where I could park. They told me I could park anywhere that was not covered. Pulled into a space that was not marked and finish placing the furniture. Came back to find our car had been booted with an $85 fine. I went and spoke to the property manager and explain the situation. They were unwilling to do anything!! Spoke to my client and he said the first day he moved in he also go booted and had to pay the $85 fine also and that property management was unwilling to do anything about it. Great way to welcome your future tenants with an 85 dollar fine!!!. The company that have hired to police their parking lot is the worst! Holding your car and your ability to do anything for 1/2 a day leaves a bad taste in your mouth!! Don't expect them to have any mercy on anyone including people living in the complex.
Same experience with Frank as a few of the other people who have left reviews. I paid $80 for a passenger car detail (interior only). I inspected my car after getting home instead of at his shop. As another commenter noted, it wouldn't have done any good to question his work -- he doesn't appear to be interested in listening to anyone except himself. It appears that he attempted to shampoo the carpets; cleaned some of the grime off the steering wheel (I had specifically pointed that out to him prior to the work); and wiped some shiny conditioner on the dash. In fairness, he did voluntarily buff the cruddy build-up off the headlight covers w/o being asked. However, I took my car in for a detail because I was seeking to have all the vinyl inside cleaned -- that did not occur in a meaningful way. Other than some of the dash immediately in front of the driver, and possibly a quick swipe on the door handles, the rest of the vinyl was not touched at all. I was seeking to have the windows cleaned inside -- that did not occur at all. I was seeking to have the upholstery shampooed -- that did not occur at all. I was seeking to have the carpet shampooed -- it appears that he attempted to shampoo the carpets, but nearly all the existing grime was still there, just swished around. He did clean the two floor mats pretty good.Very, very disappointed with the product of his work. I don't know if he deliberately performs poorly, or if he just doesn't give a damn anymore and doesn't care if anyone returns or gives bad word-of-mouth about the work. I tend to think he just doesn't give a damn, but I also have the sense that I was duped, with all the talk beforehand about how knowledgeable he is and all the chemicals he has, etc. etc. etc. Then, the result of the job looks as though he spent a total of about 30 minutes working on the car.Bottom line: Very sloppy. Very incomplete. Very dissatisfied. Very ripped off (it's $80, after all). And, most importantly, very mislead. It seems, effectively, that he is contemptuous towards the notion of meeting a customer's expectations. There also seems to be a component of 'skinning' the customer for the money, by talking everything up beforehand and then handing such shoddy work back to the customer. It reminds me of a carnival worker at those games where you only lose your money, and that's it. Bye, bye, thanks for the cash, sucker.
At least they charge too much! I would pay 650 for this apartment, they keep increasing the rent and now we are paying 850.Its not terrible, its just not nice. Its not worth 850 for this place. If the managers took better care I would see this as being justified, but they will keep increasing their rates without increasing their service.
I agree braty..I have done it and I am on a campaign to equalize the balance. Glad I am not the only one sorely disappointed with new management..3 managements changes in 18 mos..they do not care for us..they care for money and I think the inexperienced lobby worker could take a class in customer service. They seem to have no power to authorize anything so they say. I am now requesting all requests and denials in writing..I am thinking class action suit??
Canal park apartments look nice and appealing on the outside but then when you walk into the complex countless spider webs attack your face. I have seen hobo spiders in their laundry room many times. When signing the lease the manager said they spray for bugs, I have never seen this happen and the complex is like a breeding ground for mosquitoes and spiders. The walls have an extra two inches between your neighbors which is great for noise control, but this also affects your cell phone reception downstairs. You can't answer any calls downstairs without the call being dropped. Every time I had a phone call or needed to send a text I had to go upstairs. I relayed this concern to the manager and once again she acted surprised like no one else had ever had that issue and brushed it off like it was nothing. Don't ever ask to have anything to have fixed, they do not give you notice of when they are coming for maintenance, they will bang your door down all hours of the morning until you answer, even if you're in the shower! Even if you don't answer they will walk right into your apartment. So if you don't care much about privacy and like being treated like a criminal with them searching your apartment and letting themselves in whenever they want then this apartment complex is for you. If you call the manager she is nice but doesn't do much except call the property manager who won't take any of your complaints seriously because she told me that her staff is amazing (her exact words) she will try to turn the situation around and place blame on you for whatever happened. She will believe her staff 100% of the time over any of her tenants and not even address the issue or apologize. The security cameras on the complex do not apparently record the parking lot and my friend's tires were slashed at the complex. I have heard from others that this company also makes up stupid reasons (like window blind cleaning) to keep your deposit. Anyways do not rent here or any other auld investment properties!!!
They made me waste about 4 days of my life. They made me think choosing their apartments was the best damn decision I would have ever made, but boy was it wrong! Their pristine office and pristine model apartment fooled my boyfriend and I. They acted so professional and convinced us that their apartments were amazing. So we decided to take the lease. We rented a U-haul and it took us 2 days to move everything from our old apartment into the Boise Towne square apartment, then spent our first night and we just so happened to be awake around midnight and all of a sudden cockroaches started appearing left in right all around the apartment! It was so disgusting, we couldn't even eat in the kitchen because their were roaches roaming around the carpets, kitchen counter tops, bathroom, etc... We just couldn't stay there another night! So we woke up the next morning and talked to the landlord and told him that we were pretty much leaving because of the cockroach infestation. The landlord told us that there was a pest control guy that had checked the apartment and said he didn't see anything, but there just 'might' be an influx of them at some point! WTF?! Then why the hell would they go about renting out apartment if there might be an influx of roaches in it! These people who own the apartments are selfish liars that con people into getting their money. They charge almost $800 dollars for an apartment that's worth nothing. On top of that, they had promised that the washers and dryers were all new in the units, but when we used the washer on the first night, it sounded like it was going to explode when it got to the drain and spin cycle! We tried various load sizes from small to large, and every single time it sounded the same. We even tried to cook on the burners before we found out about the roaches, and the burners didn't even heat up. It was on for at least 10 mins and the pan was still cold! DO NOT waste your money on this place. After moving all of our stuff out of that disgusting apartment and back into our old one, there were some cockroaches that had gotten into our boxes, and now we have to waste more money to buy roach traps so that we don't carry them with us into our next future apartment!!! Boise Towne Square Apartments claim they are a professional renting agency, but they failed to even refund all our money back WHEN WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN ALL OF IT BACK despite all the money they made us waste on them and moving, plus our valuable time that we will never get back. I've never had such a terrible moving experience until I decided to rent from this place. DON'T RENT FROM THEM!
They had my seats for 6 months before I finally went down to find out whats going on. They hadn't touched them. They did order the fabric tho which was truly groundbreaking news.Other friend of mine took his seats back after 3 months and took them elsewhere since no progress was being made. Not sure if the work is any good or not but I didn't feel like waiting 2 years to find out.
I have grown up in Oregon my whole life and just recently moved out to Boise after graduating college. My previous renting experience in Oregon was a joyful one, never had any issues with the complex or maintenance and the community was very nice.My boyfriend and I chose to live here because we loved the apartment and the staff seemed very nice. We have been living here for about four months and have encountered numerous problems. The staff has been pretty nice and reasonable with our requests however the problems we have had will ensure we will not be renewing our lease when the time comes. The first problem started with the complex being a "smoke free environment", but almost everyone here smokes. As the weather starts to get nicer we would like to leave our windows and sliding glass door open to enjoy the fresh air but every time we do it ends up wafting in smells of cigarette smoke. The environment of the complex is not very welcoming with neighbors going about their business not bothering to say hello. Most of the tenants are refugees or lower-income. The second problem was that my boyfriend had his car towed. The parking here is very limited and is open to anybody. One night my boyfriend park along the curb which was supposed to be open parking. The spot was meant to fit two cars however the car parked there before us was taking up quite a bit of room. With just the tail end of his car in the red "no parking" zone, we got the car towed. It ended up costing $200 to get it back. The apartment staff was sympathetic but did nothing to compensate for the cost we had to pay.The third problem was when I had just gotten back from vacation. I had been gone for about a week and when I got back and went out to my car in the morning to drive to work there had been many profanity words and pictures keyed into my car. I talked to the office about the incident, filed a police report and talked to my insurance. The staff at the front office said that they had a similar incidence the week prior to mine with the same thing. Although they were again sympathetic they did nothing to help compensate for the problem. I am not sure how I will get it fixed yet as my deductible on my car is $500, money I do not have, nor wish to spend for a problem that was out of my control. Sorry this review is so long, I hope it helps some in making a decision on whether or not to live here. The apartment was great, loved the space and it was in good condition and the staff was alright but the cost and time of the problems I encountered does not justify me renewing my lease when it is up.
