Sears repairman has been polite and proffesional each time he has come out.... Twice to fix problems with my not yet 1 yr. old dryer and once to do yearly free maintenese on w/d set. Thank goodness I paid the extra money for warranty since my dryer seems to be a lemon.

Having older Maytag washer and dryer machines, I was not sure if there would be a way to fix them. Not only did the serviceman know how to fix them, he has very familiar with the older Maytag machines and knew the part numbers by heart. After ordering the parts, it only took him approx one hour to have both machines running again. I really did not want to purchase new machines... And am thrilled I was able to keep my long time favorites.

We had a washer that leaked like crazy, word to the wise buy one of those plastic things washer sits in, our floors would have been a mess. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem but told me he didn't have that part on hand and might have to wait several more days until part came in. He said there was a chance the warehouse had that part but he doubted it. About an hour later I get a call from him telling me he had the part and was on his way back. He fixed it quickly and efficiently.

Never again, Sears, never again! 5 yr old Kenmore Elite HE top load washer, shudders and stops in spin cycle with even moderate man shows up looking like he just rolled out of bed, zero professionalism, assesses situation and declares repair will run somewhere in neighborhood of $700!!! I kid you not. We're done with Sears.

If I could give less then a one star I would. I have a four year old Bosch microwave which I purchased as Sears. The heating element went out. Sear sent out one repairman who took it apart for part numbers, reassembled and said it will take one week for delivery of parts to my house. Next Sears repair man came out (only between the hours of 9-2. I had to leave work for both repairs. This repair man spent the entire time complaining about wages and work in Boise. He made more noise, grunting and growing while installing the replacement parts. I had to buy an extended warranty or pay for the labor/replacement parts, which (interesting) where about the same price! I bought the one year warranty. After the repairman left, the microwave rattled and a few days later the handle came off in my hand! This is only a four year old Bosch product which I paid over $600 for. I wont buy Bosch product again and certainly will not buy anything from Sears going forward.

The Sears repairman who came to fix our Kenmore dishwasher was able to accurately diagnose and repair our dishwasher in less than 30 minutes. He was friendly and professional. In addition, he alerted us to an online coupon, so we were able to save on the cost of the repair. We really felt like he was knowledgeable and trustworthy.

We paid the extra $600 for extended coverage on our lemon LG refrigerator and glad we did. Six visits later we finally have a refrig that will run more than a month. Not happy with LG and very pleased with Sears home service. The Sears tech has always been friendly, and professional. I can't blame sears for a poorly designed refrigerator...should have bought Kenmore. My 45 yr old Kenmore freeze is still running great. Sears I give 5 stars and LG zero.

I paid $1,551 for a Sears Master Protection Plan in 2013. My dishwasher broke last January, and it took them three tries and over three weeks to repair it. Now it is broken again - three weeks ago. So far they have sent two repairman. Both times the repair lasted for only a day or less before it broke again. It is still broken. The people at Sears appear to have not interest in customer service.

I had a repair person come out to my house to assess the problems I was having with my front load washer. He was able to find the problem, but was passive aggressive when I told him that I was going to try to fix it myself or have a friend help me. He quoted me $400 to $500 dollars. I found the part for $61 online, and he quoted me $98 for the part. I youtubed how to fix the exact problem, and it doesn't take three hours to fix. The guy on the video fixed it in 30 minutes. He wasn't friendly and he left a bunch of water in my washing machine that I was left bailing out. I was glad that he found the problem, but will not pay that much money to fix a rubber seal on my washer!!
