Making your massage journey a wonderful experience!

General Info
About the Practitioner: Anita Rosebush, is the sole owner and operator of Massage Journey and is a Certified, Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified LaStone Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor as well as a Reiki Master Teacher. I have over 15 years of experience in massage therapy and have been certified as a Yoga Instructor since 2004 and am registered with the Yoga Alliance. I received my Reiki Master Teacher certificate in 2000. I received my training (massage and yoga) at Southwest Institute for Healing Arts in Tempe Arizona and still maintain my Arizona license, which requires continuing education. I also possess a Boise City Massage License as well. My belief is that massage is good for everyone. My goal is to individualize every massage to meet the client's needs at the time. Those needs could range from stress relief to over used muscles. Incorporating hot stones with every massage gives the clients the best of both worlds! I love teaching yoga; especially to those who feel they could never do it. My one-on-one training is very basic. It includes breathing techniques and meditation. I take the time to teach you basic and simple postures and give you the confidenance to go into a group class. By Appointment Only

I have been going to private yoga sessions with Anita for the past year and have averaged one hot stone massage per month. Anita is highly intuitive when it comes to assessing the services that will best benefit her clients. I suffer from migraines and have gone to do yoga several times when my head was bothering me. Anita always adjusts the plan for our session to incorporate practices that will help elevate my headache such as breathing, meditation, stretching, massaging my head and Reiki. Getting hot stone massages has also been a wonderful treat that I wish I could afford to do on a weekly basis. If you are looking for a great massage therapist and private yoga instructor to add to your self-care regimen, I highly recommend Anita at Massage Journey.

I have been taking private yog...

I have been taking private yoga lessons from Anita for about a year. After some major back surgery, I had to take a break from yoga, so I am having hot stone massages instead. Like many massage thereapists, Anita uses hot stones in her hands after having done an initial part of the session with her bare hands. But then she goes further by putting the stones on spots that her hands have already identified as being in need of special attention. It's like having customized mini-heating pads on your body! They are incredibly relaxing, and they make such a difference in the outcome. Although it might sound strange, my favorite part is when she turns the stones that she is using on my face to their edges and continues the facial masssage. I leave the sessions not only relaxed, but feeling better than I have in days.

Massage Journey is wonderful! I have been going there for my massages for many years now and couldn't imagine going any place else! The therapist is very knowledgeable about how the body is connected and what to work on when you have sore spots. The hot stones are really relaxing. A true professional! A great massage and a therapist you can stick with!
