We have sent 2 kids through Hillview and couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff is wonderful and our kids were well prepared for kindergarten. And most importantly, they loved school and developed a love for learning during their time at Hillview.

I had my tour the other day and was pretty dissapointed with the lack of cleanliness. The floors seemed they hadn’t been vacuumed for a while and the trash cans were full. The cots seemed pretty dirty. They allowed us to where our shoes throughout the toddler rooms. The director didn’t take us throughout the rest of the facility either. I wanted to ask but thought I would give her the opportunity. It was a poor experience and I can’t imagine paying almost 1K a month for this facility. Makes me question where their money is going because it’s certainly not going towards the care of the facilities. My child will not be attending here.
Friendly, they provide all meals for the kids, they play with the kids and do art projects. My kids have been here since they were babies and they love it there!
Our 19th month old has been attending for a little over a month and we couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll at Apple Learning Center. The facility itself could use a bit of renovation, but the staff is exceptional as well as the Director Teresa. Pros:-Great communication and clarity about daily activities, involvement, and concerns. -Smaller class sizes allow for greater intimacy and individualized treatment. -Staff is very attentive and nurturing. -Tuition is affordable and flexible. -Playground has been updated and is very inviting, safe, and good for all ages.Cons:-The facility could use some exterior upgrades (new roof, siding, paint, etc.).-The infant/toddler room could utilize more educational toys and activities, though there is the challenge of making them appropriate for ages 0-2.
Both of my Grandchildren attended Apple Learning Center and it was a great experience. They learned songs, Phonics, did fun art projects learned science experiments, social studies, and were loved and cared for by a great staff. I would highly recommend this center to anyone needing child care and preschool.
In my experience I have witnessed staff lie to other parents in regard to their children's care and safety, seen staff be physically and verbally abusive to children, seen staff steal money from parents and cheat to maintain their licenses. Staff also uses profane language and obscene gestures in front of children and encourages children to use racial slurs against one another. Terrible place, please don't leave your child here.
I would like to share my painful experience with the management of Apple Day Care. They were not able to take care of with my 21 months old kid who suffered for 10 days without any meal as well as water. Most of all I was very surprised when I was told that he will adjust after few weeks (which means without eating 8 hours for weeks - really?). I ended up taking him out the day care and won't recommend it to anyone.
Too many kids not enough staff.germy.no communication. Chaos. Very, very expensive. Very unsatisfied. The main three year old teacher wss awesome..but you could tell how overwhelmed she was. Not good. Would not recommend.
I went through three day cares until I found Aunt Sybil daycare. We have been there for 2 1/2 years now and we love it. She has taught my child many things including potty training, family values, sharing, colors, 123, ABC, and much more. They are a very caring and loving facility.
The owner is an evil lady. I'm a single father. While discussing my pick up and drop off agreement as lined out in my custody agreement she found it important to make her own stipulations and make me and my Daughter wait outside in the freezing cold waiting for an underpaid undereducated "teacher" to greet me at the door. Which on average takes 10 minutes keep in mind it's winter time and there is no reason other than a crazy ex wife that cheated on me that is keeping me from walking my daughter to her class room. Employees of this daycare do partake in illegal substances which were disclosed to the business owner yet no action was taken. While trying to live like she is still a popular high school student she had failed to provide a safe clean environment for children. She's sexist and will hold any single dad to a different standard than any mother. Be warned. And if you try to communicate expect to be hung up on and put on hold for several minutes until you finally realize there is more to life than dealing with a failing miserable "business owner" dad stay away from this establishment
