I need to tell you how wonderful both Kelly and Liz have been during the process of finding an affordable apartment for our daughter Amy. We live in Seattle and Amy will be starting her 3rd year at BSU this fall. Amy and I drove to Boise this past weekend. Needless to say, we only had two days to find an affordable apartment, fill out an application and pay a deposit. I first spoke with Liz the week before, asking her about available properties. Of course I was a bit stressed out, she assured me that we would be able, with her help, to find something that met our needs. (Amy has her own washer and dryer...just adding to the complications!) Liz prepared a list of properties for us to look at. At the end of driving 97 miles total that day looking at places, we arrived back at the office, just before 5 pm on Friday, hot and kinda grouchy. We asked about a specific property that we thought would work. We wanted to look inside before we were leaving to drive back to Seattle on Sunday. This was just not going to be possible as the showing appointments were completely booked up. We decided to go ahead and pay the deposit, site unseen, although we were able to peek in the windows at the property. Then we hear a voice say, "Are you guys available tomorrow (Sat morn) at 10 am?" Amy and I said yes. Kelly said, "Ok, I'll meet you at the property then so you can take a look." Kelly was going to show us the property on her day off! I am not kidding when I say that Amy and I almost started crying! I cannot express how great it was to work with Liz and Kelly. Of course I had called several other property management companies before our trip and Liz was the nicest and most helpful. She actually returned my phone calls! I believe they both went above and beyond their normal job descriptions and deserve kudos. Thanks so much! Chelley and Amy

My family and I moved to Boise recently and found a great house managed by 1st Ave. Properties. I researched the company online and was nervous about a number of very negative reviews. After meeting James Longstreet and expressing my concern, I became confident enough to go ahead and rent the home. I have only been renting for a few months now, but my concerns have totally been relieved. James and co. are friendly and professional. I have made a few maintenance requests, and they have taken care of them extremely quickly and effectively. At this point, I'd say that 1st Ave. is the best company I've worked with as a tenant or property owner. I'll post a new review if things change for the worse. But for tenants, this company seems to me so far to be top-notch.
I could not be more satisfied with FRPM as my manager for so many reasons. Tony and Lizz were so accessible and in the beginning very flexible to my situation as I lived out of town. They were extremely reasonable as they fixed the monthly fee to what I felt fair. They did a thorough walk-through, assisted in being the"bad guy" and obtained a great rent amount. They also have incredible accounting support, the direct deposits were flawless, the bills were understandable, and they are always kind, courteous, informative and helpful. Thank you all!
First Rate Property Management employes have been friendly and helpful with any question or concerns Ive had while living here for over a year. its clean and well maintained and out. Ive just renewed my lease for another year. Marie from accounting/finance went above and beyond to research a problem i had, she took my concerns seriously and solved the problem. The new lawn company is doing a great job i might add, the lawns are always looking sharp, especially when i have company over. overall you all are doing excellent!
Brenda called and told me you had placed a very nice note on all the doors at her apartment complex today. She had a very early doctors appointment and had to leave before anyone else left so she saw all the notes on the doors, including hers. When you live far away from your rental property it can be a little unnerving when you think about who is watching after your house. H & H Properties has looked after our house as if it was their own. The lines of communication are always open and that is very reassuring to my husband and I. We sincerely appreciate all of your efforts and thank you greatly for the great service you have provided.
Unfortunately shortly after we moved in there were a few things that broke throughout the house; it's moments like these you find out the true colors of a property manager. But thankfully they understood what happened and replaced everything quickly so we were not displaced at all. I have had great service so far and foresee a long future with this property manager, thank you guys for everything!
So thankful for First Rate being so attentive. So impressive! I've been asked how I can be comfortable owning property that is so far out of state. Every time I say that I have the right company for the job and I am absolutely comfortable with them! Certainly a better job than I can do! I think I made a great decision to purchase in Boise and hire First Rate to take care of things for me.
First Rate Property Management has been the manager her for about two years I have lived her for 3 so I can compare them to the previous managers, there is no comparison. The other company was very hands off and First Rate Property Management has been very proactive, even asking if I noticed anything that may need attention. I am in better hands now with these guys for sure.
