The service was good. The person helped with selecting the cats from available options. But have complaint about the car itself. It was a Chevy equinox. The car was not well maintained. The pick up of the car was very bad, felt like it's dragging itself and barely able to pull itself. Had a lot of trouble in mountain terrain where generally is a constant use of breaks and there was trouble with the breaks. Whenever u apply breaks it would smell very bad and also gave lot of jearks on the break paddles even if u slightly press the paddle. Felt like if u press any harder they would break. Basically the break pads seemed to be worn off. Had to stop aside on the emergency lane to let them cool off and later drive slowly with emergency lights on.Another thing was about the air conditioner. Even at the max, people in the back seat could feel the heat and it would take almost 30 minso for temperature to be stable. We usually select enterprise because they generally have good fleet of cars.

The staff at this location were so friendly no matter who I spoke to. Upon dropping off my car I double checked to make sure I did not leave anything but failed to look in the console. I left my LG bluetooth headset and my camera in the car. It was not until Tuesday before I could call to see if anything was found. I was so sad because I had just came from my grandson's 3rd birthday and the camera was full of pictures from the visit. I just knew it was lost forever. To my surprise the items were found and awaiting for me to claim them. The gentleman on the phone told me they would be sent out once the lady that usually handles this type of service returned the next week. I was forsure I would never see my items. They arrived to my home this morning just as I was promised. Thank you Deb K and Cam. S for your part in keeping my grandson's birthday memories alive.
Have been an Enterprise member now going on two years & travel for business at least one week out of every month during the year. I used to be a rate shopper going with any company that happened to be the cheapest as I use rental cars in 8 different states. I use Enterprise exclusively now regardless of the cost (which they are always closest anyway) based on their friendly service staff & wonderful condition of every car that I have rented. On a recent trip to Idaho, they provided me with a 2015 Dodge Charger for a full sized rental & I couldn't be happier. It was the first trip I was genuinely disappointed to return a rental car. Thanks Enterprise for continuing to put your customers needs first.
We reserved a Tahoe in July for a rental on 9/17. When we arrived, I had to wait 20 minutes while the Tahoe was "getting ready". Then, they said they had one, but it was going in for recall work and never bothered to have a second one available. We were given a choice of a smaller SUV (not possible for 6 people) or a minivan. I absolutely hate minivans. I expressed my contempt at their apparent lack of intelligence for not thinking of having even one extra Tahoe or Expedition available and left with no other option, took the minivan. At least they had the decency to discount the minivan cost, but would have preferred the Tahoe greatly. Will not be renting with them again if I can help it.
I reserved a full-sized car for pick-up at the Boise airport. They didn't have a car in that class available and offered a free upgrade or an upgrade to premium for a small additional daily rate. I chose the free upgrade. After driving it home to load bags, I found I didn't like it at all (Jeep Compass). I returned it right away and exchanged it for the premium class. The attendant was very nice and there were no issues with the exchange. They called me later to let me know I'd left my prescription sunglasses in the Jeep and I was able to pick them up when I returned the car later in the week. To date all my rentals with Enterprise have gone off without a hitch.
We got a rental for our vacation to the Oregon coast so we wouldn't have to put all those miles on our own vehicles. Cost of vehicle was extremely reasonable. We did purchase the basic insurance just so if we had a cracked window I wouldn't have to put it on our insurance. The agent gave us a very nice upgrade which ended up fitting our needs much better and a free tank of gas. The price of the extra insurance equaled to about what it would take to fill the tank up before returning so good deal. My work uses Enterprise when I travel and I will definitely continue to use this location for my personal needs as well.
I requested a small SUV with all wheel drive and a ski rack for our winter vacation in the mountain valley north of Boise. Because another company once promised the same combo but actually gave us a car without all wheel drive, resulting in us getting stuck at night and hitchhiking in sub freezing temperatures for help, I called the Boise Airport Branch of Enterprise to make absolutely sure the car would have 4 wheel drive. All the people with whom I spoke were friendly and helpful. When we picked up the car, we had been upgraded to a bigger SUV. It was a completely positive experience from start to end.
Car for 2 weeks in Id, Great people to deal with, how ever receive an e-mail saying I was being charged $1700.00 for the rental, called they worked it out and got a great deal for the car, however my credit card was charged and they closed the account, the. money was to be sent back in which my statement shows but my account has still been closed, Have to work with credit card company, Begining to be a hassle, Still mistakes happen and I know this but have rented from Enterprise for years, this is the first time anything like this has happened, Still Great to work with
Rental car pick up and return was smooth. Only issue was that at pick up, we asked if we could pay with a debit card when we returned the car, not the credit card we had on file. We ended up getting charged on the credit card. The manager was nice, and apologized for the mistake telling us it was out of convenience for travelers as to why they charge the card on file unless specified. SO, if you want to pay with cash or debit, MAKE SURE to have them write a note of it down, and tell the person collecting your car FIRST thing!
Reserved online, picked up at the airport to take a road trip to California. Pick up was easy, return was easy. Vehicle was acceptable, but the miles were pretty high. Problem with the pickup was the car was not clean. There was chocolate left on the passenger seat and smudge or residue on the passenger door handle. You have to clean the car before you rent it. Seems basic to me. I've used Enterprise more often than not in the past, and I'm a member, but I'll think twice next time.
