Alterations plus bailed on finishing my wedding dress two weeks before my wedding. It was so poorly done at my fitting 14 days before my wedding, I was horrified. When I voiced my concern, the owner Cheryl, offered me my money back. I explained to her this wasn't about the money but rather that I needed a dress and time was rapidly running out. I had previously tried contacting her so we weren't doing this at the last minute but her assistant Robin told me that Cheryl would call me when she was ready. The slip was sewn on backwards, the sleeves were sewn on backwards, she had lined it 6 inches too short and the waist cut across my bust as well as the shoulder seams were at my collarbones. She finally conceded that she could fix it and have it ready two days before my wedding. I elected to take my fabric and money and go elsewhere as I was so horrified by her "professional Skills" She told me that she felt "real bad" in a totally flat tone and never apologized for the enormous amount of stress she was causing. She also backed out on her word to reimburse me for the fabric that was purchased on HER recommendation. Do business with Alterations Plus at your own risk.
