Out of all my closings, this is by far the worst title company I have encountered. Nothing was on time and the paperwork had mistakes that delayed the closing. The person in charge of coordinating documentation was very defensive and kept on making up "laws" as reasons why she did not complete tasks. Just to give you an example, they moved more than a year ago (as of the date of this posting) and their address has not been updated in google maps or in YP. They are actually at 5820 North Federal Highway - just down the street where they used to be. Lyn is the person that was handling our closing.

They recommended we pre pay an additional quartrely HOA pament at closing however we received notice of non payment and late fees from our HOA.. it is clearly on HUD closing statement and should be a cut and dry situation. However the person who worked on the closing quit.. then another person handling the situation for us was transfered (no one got back to us with this) then finally a new person ..Steve..was assigned to help us he never gets back to us when he promises to.. WEEKS AND WEEKS HAVE GONE BY...then he says yesterday , Monday morning, that he will call back by this morning, Tuesday, the latest knowing full well he would be on vacation until the end of the week. RIDICULOUS We have stressed to them that we are in contract to sell the property and want this corrected as soon as possible so that it does not effect our sale.We reached out today to the receptionist 3 times to ask for a supervisor who's name is Sherry Falkner...we have left messages to please get back to us .. and all we get from the receptionist is BE PATIENT! !! SERIOUSLY WE HAVE BEEN PATIENT FOR 5 WEEKS .. she was snippy on the phone with me and almost indignant that I should be tired of being patient!!! AVOID WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. It is a simple matter that should have been handled and corrected in a couple of days. . 5 weeks of our telephone calls is trying to sort this out is UNACCEPTABLE!

This had to be the worst experience I've ever had at purchasing an investment property. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! Customer service is NOT their field of expertise

worst company ever! Tom Pauletti the worst. be warned you will have the worst experience trying to buy your home they never reply to an email and wait to possible last min to do any work. they all are a bunch of clowns don't trust them!!!

Sweet Settlements handled the closing for my Orlando home on 10*21/16 and made the process very smooth and professional. It was a pleasure working with Samantha. I would recommend them.

My wife and I have moved several times in our lives and this has been the worst closing we've experienced. Everything was last minute. There were fees added that were not disclosed up front with some having to be corrected and removed. Communication was horrible. They had weeks to get the required documents in order. We were running around getting notarized signatures, faxing documents and sending docs by Fed Ex on the day of the closing. The closing was to take place at 2:30. We didn't close until after 6:00. When we discussed our concerns with our contact at Sweet Settlements she stated she would speak with the owner. We asked for a reduction in our fee from $450 to $300. After all of the issues that were their fault (I only listed about half here) they offered no discount. As sellers, we did not have a choice of settlement companies but if you do, do not choose this company or at least make sure your agent does not use them.

Del Mar Title was wonderful! They were so polite and professional and were really quick to get back to me. They explained the whole process so I had piece of mind and really made me feel like I was taken care of. I don't plan on buying a house again any time soon, but I have already told a coworked that this place is the best!

I used this title company based on the recommendation of a business associate when I sold my house recently. Having had experience with unresponsive title companies in the past, I was very pleased with the customer service that all of the staff gave to me. My agent return all of my phone calls very quickly and really kept in contact with all parties and made sure that the closing was on time. She was able to get one of the realtors who was not doing his job in line and as far as I am concerned she saved the deal! Thanks so much for a job well done.
