Total Health and Rehab has been providing physical therapy in Boca Raton area since April 2000. We provide outstanding physical therapy and our seasoned staff utilizes the latest rehabilitative techniques. We focus on all of your musculoskeletal aches and pains resulting from sports injuries, auto accidents, post-surgical rehabilitation as well as everyday issues. At Total Health and Rehab you can expect personal one-on-one physical therapy service in a comfortable and serene setting, not like a gym or exercise studio. Dr. Benjamin Galin is a doctor of Physical Therapy with over a decade of orthopedic experience. He is originally a Connecticut native. He received his undergraduate degree in health sciences at James Madison University in Virginia. Dr. Galin then migrated further south, receiving his masters (MPT) and then doctor of physical therapy (DPT) at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He now lives in Boynton Beach with his family. Dr. Galin has been practicing since 2001 and has a diverse background treating professional athletes, weekend warriors, work related injuries, and degenerative age related conditions. He enjoys the challenge of treating pain and dysfunction through conservative non-surgical care. He firmly believes in the power of the body to heal itself and the integral role that a properly functioning neuro-muscular skeletal system plays in promoting both the everyday healing and the acute healing from injuries, repetitive degenerative conditions, and trauma. Dr. Galin feels that therapy helps the body through this process to avoid any dead end roads that would ultimately lead to chronic pain dysfunctions. Dr. Galin received his Board specialty Certification in Orthopedics (OCS) given by the specialty boards of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has taken dozens of continuing education courses to keep on top of the latest and newest techniques for treating the body. By incorporating many different techniques, sometimes in conjunction with one another, he can get the optimal benefits efficiently. He currently teaches courses to other physical and occupational therapists here in Florida and contributes to online education seminars throughout the United States. Dr. Galin uses a variety of techniques including manual therapy, specific targeted therapeutic exercises, modalities, electro-acupressure, taping techniques, and teaching to help accomplish proper neuro-muscular functioning in his patients. He performs golf and tennis related programs that allow the golfer and tennis players’ bodies to be able to meet the demands of their sport through stretching, sport strengthening, sport related balance and proper spinal mobility and stability. He does not typically believe in the “no pain no gain” theory and feels that pain relief should be a gradual and gentle; yet specific and unique to each patient.

Take the second entrance north of Glades Rd just before the Mobil gas station, and the office is directly infront of you, Total Health and Rehab Center.
