I recently moved to Boca, and I was lucky to find these people, very professional, friendly, and honest. I took the car (Dodge Charger 2008) for an oil change, but they also did a general inspection to see if everything was going well. In fact, that is what I wanted to do too.Everything was exactly done the same as what I had experienced at the Dodge dealer shop in Minnesota:1. I scheduled an appointment,2. I left the shop and they called to report3. Billy called me and told me what was wrong with the car, what needed to be done, and how much exactly was it going to cost.4. I had to decide whether I want to authorize the new parts and repairs. NO PUSH.5. I agreed, and Conrad told me to pickup the car one day after that.6. I picked up the car, I received a very detailed and itemized bill, explaining all the new parts and the labors separately.7. I did not check other places for price, but the prices were reasonable to me.8. I had minor concerns (Nothing Serious) and took the car back for a follow up. Concerns were fixed without any additional charges (even though it was NOTHING serious and it was not their fault).I highly recommend the Billy, Conrad, and generally the Shores Automotive.By the way, every time I have been there, beautiful classic cars were in the shop for service, which I love.
This was the first time I have ever taken my car to anywhere but the dealership, and being a younger female I was a little nervous because of horror stories I've hear about auto shops. After reading the reviews below I chose Boca Auto Center, I will never take my Jetta anywhere else. Simon and his mechanics are honest, hard working people. Ended up saving me a lot of money, I would have probably had to sell a kidney just to afford it. Plus I have a Volkswagen and their a pain in the but to work on. I went to Boca Auto driving a car that I felt was going to break down on me at any moment and I left relieved and confident I was driving something reliable again. I give this place 6 stars! Great customer service and his mechanics are easy to talk to, I felt like I learn more about my car every time I go in. Never have I looked forward to getting my car worked on. Great Job Guys :)
I was in Boca Raton Florida on business, November 1 - 4th, 2015. In my travel from Orlando, my car started acting up, leaking anti freeze and misfiring. I met Bill at Last Chance Garage on Sunday, November 1, 2015 (the shop was closed, but he had come by to take care of somethings). I dropped off the car during the week for a day, he tested the entire cooling system for leaks and found none. He had one of his staff take my car overnite to determine any problems when driven for a long distance. >He told me "he is not going to sell me anything I do not need!" The diagnosis was the I had a blown head gasket. He provided excellent service and did not even want to charge for the time spent examining the car. We finally agreed an a very fair price for his time. I highly recommend his garage for honest, professional automotive repair in the Boca Raton area! Jim S.
Julio, the owner of this auto repair shop, has been a long time family friend for ages. I used to go to him when he owned Spanish River Auto Repair. I have to say that when he sold Spanish River Auto Repair it was so hard to find a mechanic that was as good, fair, and reasonable. His hourly labor rate is cheaper than most of the auto repair shops in town. As far as the pricey parts go he is very fair. He gives you an honest inspection of what is wrong with your and won't add on problems that aren't really there like most of the auto repair shops I was going to before he opened his new shop. I almost forgot to mention how fast he fixes up the cars and has them up and running! Overall, I'd give Autobahn a 5 star. VERY nice shop, well kept and clean, very honest and fair with labor rates and part prices as well. You should definitely check it out.

The owner, Bill Craven is professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and thorough about my car issues, is upfront with repair estimates and explains my car troubles in detail with alot of patience. "I went to Mercedes to have my stereo repaired and they told me the entire master command center would have to be placed. The cost for the service and parts was $8000. Being sane I said NO to the repair and went to Fred at Boca Auto. Fred repaired my radio. There was nothing wrong with the master command center, it was an issue of parts being replaced and some reprogramming. The entire cost for the stereo repair and a new transmission mount which I didn't even realize was cracked was under $800.Fred is a kind, caring and honest person. I will never go anywhere else. Love bringing my car to Shores Automotive. I regularly take my car to the dealership for an oil change. Along with that they run a diagnostic test and print out a report with all the items that require immediate attention with a quote. I bring that report to Billy who checks out my car and lets me know which items are critical and which can wait. I appreciate his honesty as the dealer makes it sound like they all need to be taken care of immediately. More importantly he is able to do the work and save me between 25% to 40% of the amount quoted. I trust Billy 100% with my car.
