IT'S PPL LIKE EVELYN THAT REMIND ME WHY I SHOULD NOT SUPPORT SMALL TOWN LOCAL BUSINESS. THROUGH MY EXPERIENCE THERE, IT LACKED DISCIPLINE, LACKED STANDARDS AND LACKED PRINCIPLES.Evelyn helped me. She was really nice and friendly in the beginning. We carried on conversations. She seemed genuine. I asked her how much would she charge me for highlights. She looked at my hair and told me 55 because I just wanted a few highlights. I then asked her how much she would charge to add black strips of highlights as well. She quoted 65 altogether. After she was done, it wasn't what I asked for but I didn't mind sure, ok or so I thought at the time. I paid her 80. When I got home, I took a better look at my hair. The highlights were nice but it looked like I have had them for about a month already when I just got them done. They were a bit far from my roots. I have had highlights in the past. I know a stylist can go a bit closer to the roots than this.I went back to Caliente to Evelyn's station and asked if she can touch up on my roots because I felt like it was a bit farther than I would like it to be. She commentated, said she couldn't go in any closer. Then all of a sudden said "that's what I get for with the price that she quoted me on"! Basically saying I paid for it cheap and that's all what it is.(Somewhere along that line that's basically what she said). I was furious. How can I not be offended at this remark? She completely insulted me. I was just asking to touch my roots more not more highlights! Where TF did that comment come from? I asked for the manager or owner but he wasn't there. So I proceeded to the front of the salon where my boyfriend was seated to leave. I explained to my bf what Evelyn had said to me of how insulted I felt before walking out. Evelyn then comes to my boyfriend and I escalating the situation by talking more crap that what she did was all she can do. Ok, so if that's her best then let it be. I wasn't even upset that she couldn't go any closer to my roots . If she's not comfortable doing it then that's fine. What I was UPSET about was the fact that she basically told me that I was cheap and I got what I paid for. IT WAS NOT EVEN NECESSARY TO HAVE MADE THAT RUDE ASS COMMENT. SHE SHOULD HAVE JUST LET ME WALK OUT BUT SHE DECIDED TO COME TO THE FRONT TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE. She ARGUED with me in the salon in front of all the employees and customers. Not one bit embarrassed. Not listening to one word I had to say. Couldn't even shut up to understand that she INSULTED me that's why I'm upset. So ignorant of her. Plus I was already in the process of walking out why come to me to worsen the situation. How unprofessional. She assumed the whole situation and didn't even feel apologetic. Although she did apologize at one point, it wasn't even sincere. My God, I am mortified by the way she handled the situation.I am very upset, disappointed and disgusted by the way I was treated. I even called her when I got home to try and talk to her about what happened in the salon that it was a bit out of hand, wanting for the situation to be mutual. But NOPE, that didn't happen. She was unreasonable. Uh Hello, I'm the customer, not her. She went in circles again. Not listening. I'm leaving it at that. it is what it is. Bottom line, SHE quoted me the price. I didn't tell her to give me that price. She wanted my business. Then turn it around like I was cheap. Don't give a person a cheap price, then do a performance to what you think its equivalent to the value or worse of value and then try to turn the tables. A stylist should always do their best to have a good rapport. Especially if you want more clientele. If what I paid for was more expensive then I would have been WAy more upset. Especially if that WAS the best she can do. She needs to embrace critiques and listen to customers before reacting so unprofessionally.

Don't bother coming to this place. I made an appointment with there with a girl named Michelle. She made it for me for a Saturday at 9am. I arrive on time and after waiting outside 15 I get a call for Michelle, that she doesn't make appointments at 9 for me to go at 11. I made this appointment 2 weeks in advanced. I confirmed appointment since I came from out of town. This is just so unprofessional and ridiculous. Never going there ever!!
