Been waiting for them to pick up my trash for two weeks and I keep calling and they say they will be out and never show up. When I ask for a refund for the service I am not getting they said they could not do that and they would be out at there earliest convenience. Do not recommend this company. I have been reading all the reviews in the community pages and they are all bad. So use at your own risk.
The first time we used them they took about a month to get their route down. Took them 2-3 months to get our trash can. Then everything was okay for a few months then they started only picking up 3 times a month. Then pay day came late so we were a week behind and they shut off service immediately although they were still a few weeks behind. So after a few months we paid them in full and then paid for a year in advance and we haven't had a pick up in a month. So we complained and threatened to cancel so on the following Monday they came and got their trash can and left a couple of bags of trash on the curb. We still haven't been refunded our money. Their customer service sucks.
Done business with this company for a few years. Had the occaisional missed pick-up. Lately they wouldn't take our trash, claiming that we didn't have only household goods in our trash, which we did. It was a broken down desk in about 2' long pieces.
We cancelled our service & they told me they would refund our money. That was almost 3 months ago. Called them this morning & they said they had no record of our refund.
This company doesn't do what they say they will & will gladly take your money for doing nothing. I would be careful about doing business with a company that will treat their customers this way.
Didn't have many problems with the service. Now trying to call for anything is practically useless.
I called days before moving out of town. Voicemail. I called the day I left. Another voicemail.
My landlord left the can out for two weeks. Before moving it to the side of the house. A month and a half after I move. I get charged $80 for the trash can they never picked up. I called again. Voicemail. 3 months later they are charging me late fees because I didn't pay for the trash can THEY never picked up.
Go figure. A trash company treating there customers like trash.
Misses pickups frequently. Sometimes will pick up lawn waste, but not trash or visa/versa. The've even missed a second week in a row after I called to notify of a missed pickup. Also, very difficult to get a hold of as the phone often goes directly to voicemail. Asking to get more recycling bags and questions about recycling does not get a reply from a voicemail. Maybe your experience will be better, but why take a chance? There's other options out there.
This companies driver drove right past my house without stopping, EVERY WEEK!!!!! If the trash was not literally overflowing from the barrel they did not stop! I had to call when I got home from work every time it was trash day & let the office know that my trash was still here so they could "send someone back out the next day." This became very annoying & time consuming., The driver's excuse was that he "didn't see it;" however, he never slowed enough to try, let alone get out & look! Horrible service, won't use them again! I went on vacation for 2 weeks & found maggots growing in my trash because it hadnt been picked up since I left town & I wasnt here to call & harrass them about it! Disgusting!
Unfortunately, your review doesn't give your address so I cannot pinpoint the problem, here. In most circumstances when trash is 'missed', trash cans are not out in clear view, are blocked by cars in driveway or are not out by 7:00 am. Repeat misses are directed to the operations manager for follow-up and normally problems are resolved. Thank you for your review.
I was browsing for a special one-time pickup of old furniture and leftover construction materials and I noticed EWS only had one reviewer. I'm a current customer of there's in Blue Springs and have never had a complaint. They've always done a great job for me. And I like that they also have a yard waste service that I can subscribe to on a seasonal basis.

I was a customer for more than five years. They never pick up in a timely manner, when you call them to come back for services they want to charge an additional $10 but the trash will not get picked up for two or three days. The collection crew are very rude at times. They have thrown my trash can across the lawn also, did not look to see that I had a bucket of motor oil that I was going to be picked up by another company to be sent off to be recycle properly instead, Envirostar Waste Service Inc. pick it up and pour the contains all over the drive way, down the side walk and grass killing it off.
If you are going to consider using this company I would suggest look at other companies who may charge similar rate or a high rate but will provide good service.

Thank you for your comments. I wish you had brought your concerns directly to my attention. Motor oil is HHW and strictly forbidden in MO landfills. Our drivers and throwers are well-aware of company policies and State restrictions regarding HHW. They usually would not have moved it, at all. M.
