On September 16, 2017 I signed a contract for home remodeling services with Greg Bowlen, the owner of First Call Services. At that time Mr. Bowlen stated that he had some previous health issues, I asked him several times if he believed that his heath would cause him any issues with completing the contract. He stated that it would be no problem as he was past the issue and he had a foremen that would step in if needed. I provided 40% down payment on the project. Mr. Bowlen stated that they would begin work that week. Work was to be completed by November 1, 2017. Mr. Bowlen failed to show up, answer phone calls, emails or text messages for days at a time. Mr. Bowlen fully admitted that he took the down payment we gave him for the materials on our home and used the funds elsewhere. Mr. Bowlen lied to us in every conversation we had with him. The kitchen and utility room cabinets are of vastly inferior quality on construction that I had chosen for use. The flooring used is of inferior quality than chosen, the base board trim was to match the flooring and he installed unpainted white trim. As of November 14, 2017 we have a home with no countertops, sink, cabinet pulls and faucet. Cabinets are not the same and do not match as called for in the contract. No heat in the bathroom as he closed off the heat vent with a cabinet. A light switch does not work as a problem exists with the electrical work that was completed. DO NOT USE THIS GUY. I wish there was a no-star option to rate this company. We hired them to locate, contain, and remove mold from our house. They failed on all three accounts, and refuse to return our money. They are now removing my posts from their Facebook page, they are not returning calls, and they are not responding to email. We also had to hire additional contractors to fix the problems that they did not (they didn't locate, contain or remove the mold), and further, to fix the problems they caused (they didn't contain the mold and the work they were supposed to be doing was by our furnace, so now we need to get our ducts comprehensively cleaned).They went further to refute our claim by saying that they wouldn't take our word, or the word of our contractor when we supplied them photographic evidence of mold because we aren't properly qualified/ certified to identify it. The mold was on a wall, visible to plain sight. Their inability to contain the mold is the real baffler. Their process of containment is kinda the only thing that separates them from me, using a hammer.The worst part though, is the process right now, where they are treating us with no respect, and are dismissing our complaint because they "stand by their work."Unreal.

-Oils and waxes: This would include glue, gum, nail polish, and cigarette residue. The best way to clean each of these varies - some may need to be simply scraped off or, if possible, frozen to make it brittle and then chipped away. Most glue can be dissolved and removed using a solvent like rubbing alcohol. Nail polish may also be dissolved using rubbing alcohol or with nail polish remover containing acetone.
Unfortunately, some stains may prove difficult to remove using household products. In any case, vacuuming and spot cleaning may not be enough to get your carpet or rug looking like new again. That's why many homeowners opt to hire a professional carpet cleaning service on a regular basis, around once every 12 to 18 months.
