We traveled 200 miles to check out a car we saw advertised online. The saleman insured the car was still available before we traveled to the dealership. The car was exactly as described/pictured online. We ended up purchasing the vehicle, and it was one of the easiest purchase we have made through a car dealership. We feel we got a great deal! Their "No docking fee" policy alone saved $350 from what another area dealership was going to charge. Very satisfied customer and will return the next time we are in the market for a vehicle
THERE INTERNET SALES DEPARTMENT, HEADED BY QUINTON GENTRY, USES BAIT & SWITCH TACTICS. I WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE AND BY E-MAIL, BETWEEN 28 JAN & 01 FEB 2010, THAT I COULD HAVE MY CHOICE, FROM SEVERAL 2009 & 2010 BASE MODEL MALIBUS, FOR $16,000 & SEVERAL 2009 IMPALAS IN STOCK FOR $14,000. I CALLED BACK ON 01 FEB 2010, AND ASKED IF ICOULD PURCHASE ONE MALIBU FOR $16,000, AND WAS TOLD "YES". MY WIFE AND I, DROVE THE 20 MILES FROM NORMAN TO BLANCHARD, AND WERE TOLD BY ANOTHER EMPLOYEE, THAT YOU COULD NOT PURCHASE A MALIBU FOR $16,000, AND THAT THEY HAD NO 2009 MODELS OF EITHER CAR. THEY THEN TRIED TO STEER US INTO A USED SATURN WITH 12,000 MILES, OR A HAIL DAMAGED MALIBU FOR $18,000. WE ENDED UP LEAVING, AND LATER THAT EVENING, WE PURCHASED A NISSAN AT BOB MOORE IN NORMAN.
I apologize for any mis-understanding that occurred during your visit. We do not employ bait and switch tactics. We have New 2009 Impalas here that can be sold for $16,995 and a New 2010 Malibu LS that has an out the door price of $16,794. Again, I apologize for your inconvience and hope that you see that we were not attempting to trick you in any way. We hope that you have good luck in the future and congrats on your Nissan purchase.
My experience with the purchasing of my CAR far excelled what I have been accustomed to in the past with other dealers.
I felt like I would like to recomend your entire staff to most any one who is in search of a car or truck. In fact, my Grandson, Grand-son in law all recentely bought their trucks and my Grand Daughter her 2008 Chevy Tahoo there.
Rick Gray was the sales person that I mostely dealed with. Everyone in the building was very pleasant and their was no high pressure, on the otherhand, in fact I felt like the "Good old Boy" atmosphere was with my every step.It was extremely hot and I was offered a cold drink.The entire staff stayed until the time I made my decission to purchase.Then all the features of the car were pointed out in detail.
The business office worked well with me to get to a figure good for me.
I have since been contacted the week of the purchase twice by Rick Gray to see that all was well.
Then I recieved another phone call from Peggy Klippelmier to call if I had any concerns.
In MY past experiences.I do not remember any one checking once the sale was made.
By the way, I am really learning what all the knobs and buttons are for and being able to rest in the assurance if I do have a question they will be there for me.
