In many respects it was hard to imagine the heart of the black community meeting here for worship, instruction, prayer, and praise when four precious girls were murdered. Years later, one is able to stand on this corner and relive those days through the eyes of the participants by simply viewing this building and the iconic sign that has been seen around the world. It is great to see so many victories that have been gained and to realize that the inspiration that motivated many of the participants was a faith deeply rooted in the Word!

My wife and I visited here a few weeks ago and I just had to share what a great experience we had. The people were so friendly! The music and worship was great and the pastor had a lot of good things to say during his message.
I've visited this church a few times since I've moved to Birmingham and they are very welcoming and the sermons are great. Pastor Sutton is awesome!
Pretty friendly place for a big church. If they don't have the ministry you're looking for then start one yourself.
I was a child when we build the Church. We came from Demopolis , Alabama after the Tombigbee River had flooded.
