Mr Forrest recently appraised my home in north Alabama and it was extremely off what my appraisal amount was in 2008 when I bought my home. To be exact a 30,000 dollar difference. He denied the requested review by my realtor even though current comp rates for my area indicated higher amounts. The home is in a good school system with many current renovations. His appraisal was based on old data and comp ratios from grossly inferior homes and foreclosures. Avoid using this company if you want a true and accurate appraisal. I am disgusted with his inadequate appraisal of my home and I recommend avoiding this company for any appraisal work. I am currently working towards a more formal complaint with the board.
