No matter whether an accident involved a freshly licensed teen or an experienced driver, knowing what to do (or not do) is essential to bouncing back.
I brought them my car that had a panel loose on the front from pulling over a curb. They got to it immediately and had it fixed in 10 minutes. On top of that, they told me that I owed them nothing. I submitted an application online and was called back by Faishon with Serra. I told her what I was looking for and was told I was approved. She’ texted me asking if I was still interested. I asked her if they could get me that Jetta, out the door for $18k. She said yes, manager approved and he would email me a confirmation of the OTD price of $18k. We agreed that I’d come in Sat. Sat, I had no email. Texted her and she said she’d have him give me a call. I advised that I was at an event and unavailable for a call and preferred an email. She became rude telling me “it’s nothing to break down if we’re negotiating a price for you? Which is OTD for $18k on a $21k car”. I replied: “Just wondered what he has as the car price, fees, taxes, discounts.”She replied: “My mangers offered to negotiate 18K OTD for you and work something out....But okay...”I replied: “My understanding was they could work something out for $18k. My goal is to have negotiations done before I come in. If that's an issue, I will try elsewhere.”She replied: “okay”I replied: “Okay as in I should look elsewhere, or okay as in yes, they will break down what they can do before I come in?”She never texted me back. That day I emailed the dealership from the website and never got a reply . I also tweeted to Serra VW and VW Cares and got no reply. She called me that day around 4:30. She asked if I was there. I said no, based on our text conversation and my not hearing back from you, I assumed the deal was off”. She replied “well, I did text you back, but whatever, I’ll cancel your appointment” and then hung up on me. This was this past Saturday. Since then, I contacted a different dealer and with an online app, 2 texts and 2 calls, I got exactly what I needed by way of communication and price breakdown. I’m picking up my Jetta from them this Friday. I was going to let this go, but Faishon just called me again wanting to know if I was still interested. Surely she can’t be serious?
He tries tries and tries but does not fix stuff or warranty stuff the work he does is not good and does not work half the time. Very disappointing how much of my money has gone to this shop. I come to find out someone even took some stuff out of my truck and also his new guy broke my brand new retrofitted headlights. This is not how a business is supposed to be run they scratched up my whole dash doing stuff and someone even takes stuff out and now it's nowhere to be found it just is not right. I don't like leaving bad reviews and talking bad about places especially saying someone took stuff out but the stuff is gone and no where to be found and I don't want other people to go through it. It might not of been the owner it could be any of the employees maybe they even just misplaced the stuff but at this point it's no where to be found. I have given this shop about 5 Chances and never was everything fixed after the truck kept going back and fourth and everything was under warranty also. Also there is a ton of over spray on my truck which he was supposed to paint and now there is over spray and do little white dots everywhere also he used 2 different color black paints on my door!
Friendly when trying to get your business and then you cant reach him, takes his time getting to your car after saying it would only take 4-7 days, ordering more parts than you authorized, and only one helper (mechanic) who speaks The English language., the list goes on and on. Unprofessional yelling at the customer, A Fraud who does not honor his "warranty" work. Sounds like court time. Not a threat.
