Overall

We went four days without running water in our apartment FOUR DAYS!!!! Our water heater broke and after notifying immediately it took them FOUR DAYS !! They never offered a hotel room or a spare apartment only to take showers it was like living in prison but if prisons have running water

Do NOT move here! This place is unsafe! And I thought I was paranoid, until I was told to be aware and to not walk outside late at night, by a COP who is a friend. Shady characters, loud music, guys working their cars. And no, they don't have TWO pools. I am telling you, all the decent people are moving out ASAP. There is a reason this place is cheap (comparing to other 280 locations) You get what you paid for.

Overall

If you are a generally happy person, don't live here. You will become angry, irritable and regret signing your lease. The office staff is the most incompetent group of people (every single one) I have ever met.



If you think you can request maintenance and actually get someone to come out, think again! I am one of those people that don't make lots of requests, so when I do, it is important. After making a request, you will spend more time in the leasing office asking for the status of your request, only to be met with staff who have no idea what you are talking about and will put in a new request for you. You will be back in later that week. I assure you. I spend more time than I prefer in that leasing office wondering why the staff is so incompetent.



When first signing a lease here in 2009, I loved it. In 2011, new management took over and this place went to hell. Their website has a long list of amenities that is really a huge long list of lies. They list two pools, but don't be fooled. There is only one pool. The other pool has been closed down since 2011 and don't expect it to open any time soon. The "nature walk" is still a mess since the tornadoes in April 2010, you will break your neck walking back there. Down trees everywhere, with trees falling at every storm. And the office staff blames EVERYTHING on the maintenance staff. I don't care about your petty office crap, just fix my issue.

The "dog friendly" area with poop stations is no longer emptied and bags aren't refilled. Unfortunately residents do not pick up after their pets. Be prepared to step in poop each time you leave your apartment.

I have lived here for four years. I was nervous signing that fourth lease and for good reason. There is no way I will sign another lease here. Good riddance!

Worst experience ever!!!! 3/2012

I've lived in riverside parc for a yr now and it has been nothing but a headache! Starting with the apartment and ending with management. First the apt is filled with super old appliances that barely work, the doors and walls all have cracks in them that was painted over. The water drips constantly in the bathtub and kitchen. The "amenities" they claim to have are non existent. The pools stay dirty and the laundry room is the filthiest ever! I can go on and on about this place but I'd rather stop here...I will NOT recommend this property to NO ONE period.

Poor Management

About 2 weeks ago my loud, noisey, tweeker (up all night and day for DAYS, then sleeps for 2 days, repeat...) neighbors upstairs flooded their apartment. Needless to say, all the water came through my ceiling and all into my bathroom, hallway, and laundry room. Guess what the management team said? "We can come by Monday and paint."



Paint? Paint doesn't take care of the wood, insulation, and electrical wiring that is SOAKING wet above me. Now my ceiling looks like it's going to cave at any minute. No telling how much mold is brewing up there. Thank GOD my lease is up next month. I would never rent from them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. Watch out for their "Specials". If it sounds too good to be true, then there is a reason it's like that.



The really bad part? Someone will rent my apartment next month when I'm gone. They will have mold above them because all management will do is paint. Good luck!

Never again

I moved to Riverside Parc in August 2009. I have had a Dell laptop, and a 46inch Sharp Aquous HDTV, brand new in the box stolen. Both times, according to the police, there were no signs of force entry. So, whoever broke into my apartment had a key. As for as I know I'm the only one with a key to my apartment, bedsides management. I would like to know have any one else had this problem, where there apartment has been broken into, with no signs of force entry.

If you are looking for a place to live where the manager as well as the staff go out of their way for you then look no further. Jennifer Davis is a caring, friendly & honest manager, if your ac quits and she tell s you someone will be there to fix it at 3:00 you can beleive that at 3:00 maintence is at your door. you will not find a better manager then her.
