Primary: Rheumatologist (Joints & Arthritis Specialist)
Additional Specialties: Rheumatology
I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in 1993 and since that time have seen 5 or 6 different rheumatologist. Most physicians had a difficult time with my treatment because I had bad reactions to almost all NSAID's (including Gold, Methotrexate etc...) and so I was left on prednisone for 13 years. Fortunately I had none of the normal side effects but as soon as Dr. Abbott began treating me and put me on Enbrel I've had NO PROBLEMS! I run 5 days a week, lift weights 3 days a week and if you didn't know it, would never believe I have arthritis.
I referred a close friend to Dr. Abbott after she was told they could not do anything for her by at three other rheumatologists. After 6 months she is feeling great and doing great and Dr. Abbott is the reason why! I highly recommend Dr. Abbott!

I have been seeing Dr. Anthony Turkiewicz for 5 years now. I have had my condition for 15 years, and out of all the many specialists that I have seen for my disease, he is by far the best!! He truly cares about the individual patient and the family of the patient. When I came to him, I had not been treated for my disease for 4 years because my previous doctor had been so bad, but my disease had worsened so badly that I could barely walk and my skin was becoming infected. He was the first doctor to ever treat me as though I wasn't ready for a casket (and I am under 30) and worked out a course of treatment for me that has me living life as a mom, wife, and photographer - moving and pain-free!! I know without a doubt that if it were not for the treatments that I was given under his care, I would not be alive now. My family and I will forever be gratetful to Dr. A. Turkiewicz!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. A. Turkiewicz!!

I am very happy with Dr. Anthony Turkiewicz. I have been seeing him for about 2 years and have gone from almost not walking or using my hands to working in my flower garden this summer. My experience has been very good with all the office staff and I am used to wearing the little short gowns for x-rays. Everyone in the office has been very helpful.
I travel almost 100 miles to see this group of doctors and love every minute of the trip.

Doctor Turkiewich gives inconsistent information. I couldn't recommend him. To have an x-ray I was placed in a hospital gown, paraded around the office and then placed in a waiting room (in the hospital gown) with other clothed patients to wait for the x-ray. His nurse obviously hates her job because she's rude and has no people skills. She interupts your every sentence. I'm finding a new doctor!!
