George and Gracie loves going ...

George and Gracie loves going to Kim for Spa days.
I'm so happy she's on her own and so great at what she does!

Beverley A.

My babies have been going to Kim since we moved from IN to here. They always look good and are happy. She even grooms my pitt mix when others turned me away. She worked with her over several months to get her in the door to be groomed. Once inside she groomed her without any sedation or axiextity meds. Kim is great would recommend her hands down.

Took my miniature dachshund in for a grooming left the dog, her harness and retractable leash. Picked my dog up to find out they had given both her leash and harness to another dog. Their way of rectifying the situation was to offer to give me the customer's name and address for me to go pick it up. I declined to go show up at a strangers house to pick up things that she had to know wasn't theirs when they took it and that I had entrusted to them. They offered me the use of a harness that was too big and was dirty and a leash designed for a pit bull size dog. Neither of these items were usable and I am disable so have to have them to take her out.

When I get home I find out my dog's hair has knots and kinks in it. She could not have been combed out and did not appear to be properly groomed. I ended up having to take her to another groomer, buy a new leash and harness after I had paid and tipped Bath Barks and Bubbles! When I called them 5 days later, they say they found my leash and harness. I drive all the way to pick them up only for them to try to give me some other dogs harness and a broken leash!

I guess I should just be glad they didn't loose my dog! The visit cost me and extra $70 above what I paid them.

I have a very active 3 yr old American Bulldog 90 lbs and he loves going there to visit. He gets his baths and plays with whoever will play with him. They take very good care of him

I have 3 fur babies. One Shih ztu mix, one maltese/yorkie mix, one poodle mix. I was grooming them my self and saving money. But the poodle is the hardest one to groom properly and work a full time job. Well, a friend told me about Miss Kim and her friends. They did such a great job on the my Oscar, the poodle, that i brought the other two in. I can't even do this good and she was soooooo gentle with him. And when I brought in my Hon Solo, maltese mix, who is shy and growls when scared. She just calmly took him and held him first thing to let him get use to her. She was more concerned with making him comfortable then anything else. Which as a momma, made me feel so much more relaxed. I will be spreading the good word about this place. Love you guys! Thanks so much!

Miss Kim takes care of my Sadie like she were her own dog. Best place to take your dogs. Miss Kim gives an excellent cut and it shows in the details. We have been going for several months now and I recommend Baths Barks & Bubbles to anyone who wants a quality cut and know your dog is well taken care of during their visit.

Kim is a wonderful groomer, she takes time with my baby, and cares considerably for her. Most importantly my yorkie likes her and she always looks exceptional when she comes from the spa. The spa is in a great location and the hours are excellent as well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm very pleased with the customer service and the dog grooming. I would recommend this business.

This place is great. My spring...

This place is great. My springer had been missing for several weeks (and living in the woods!) so she was in serious need of grooming and some caring, gentle hands to do it. Kim and her staff were so friendly and extremely professional--they did a fantastic job. We have been to several groomers in town, but after taking our baby here I will never go anywhere else!

Kim is Fabulous. My demon dog...

Kim is Fabulous. My demon dog (aka Angel) has been sedated for grooming her entire life of 11+ years. Kim is the only groomer that does not need to do that... she works wonderfully well with her. Angel used to tremble when taking her to the groomer, but she seems very at ease when with Kim. I highly recommend taking your pet to BB&B.

Reese is a from a horrible hoa...

Reese is a from a horrible hoarding situation and was brought cross country in a U-Haul with no water, food, proper ventilation before being rescued and adopted out by GBHS. She has a lot of issues, especially with grooming and Kim and staff are so patient with her. She always comes home looking absolutely stunning! Kim is so very talented. Kim is also very accommodating when it comes to last minute appointments. I would highly recommend Baths Barks and Bubbles!!!

Reese has fears she just needs a lil more time and understanding and she turns into a big sweetheart. Thanks for sharing us with others!

Miss Kim is the very best. She...

Miss Kim is the very best. She obviously is a master of her trade. and when you go to her shop, the dogs are not in kennels. They are allowed to roam free and play with each other. When we pick up our Shih Tsu , she is so tired and so cute. I doubt if there is a better groomer in Birmingham and certainly no one who loves their customers more.

You are so sweet! I wouldnt say I'm the master. I love my career! I treat everyones furbabies as they are my own. Libby loves to play with my babies and its such a joy to watch everyone play like fuzzy children.

We love Baths Barks & Bubbles ...

We love Baths Barks & Bubbles I aways know that my babies will be taken care of. They do a great job with grooming our maltese puppies. I am so glad that our vet told us about Miss. Kim. Dallas and Paris Dior gives her 5 stars. If you are looking for a caring and loving groomer Bath Bark & Bubbles is what you are looking for.

Great job!

I took my 6 year old Golden in for her first ever "half cut" grooming & Kimberly was so patient with her - taking her time to make my pup comfortable, helping her acclimate to BBB! I have referred many folks to Kimberly & will continue to do so & to use her myself.

claimed iconBusiness Response07/22/2012

it's always akward for pups and their mom's to visit a new place. Anytime you can make it comfy is a blessing. I find if a mommy has never seen their baby cut short its better to cut half first so it's not so shocking to them or the pup. You can always take more off later if needed.

I took my dogs there for first...

I took my dogs there for first time today at recommendation of two different people and was so impressed. Kimberly really cares for dogs and has such an attention for detail. She asked me questions and offered great suggestions - something no other groomer had ever done. My dogs looked the best they have in a very long time and were very happy when I picked them up at the end of the day. She has over 20 years experience in this business so i know my dogs could not be in better hands! I am so glad to have found her and her business and cannot recommend her more!

I'm always happy to answer and ask questions that can help mom's why and how to properly care for the wide varities of breeds we have these days. Grooming isn't just for looks it has allot of medical reasons as well. westie's are one of my fav's to groom.

This is one of the finest dog ...

This is one of the finest dog grooming studios I have ever been to. Kimberly and her staff are AWESOME! I have a Shorkie and a lab mix and they both LOVE to go see Miss Kimberly!!! My daughter also has the same two breeds and they jump in the car when you ask them if they want to go to Miss Kimberly's!!! I found her at Dog Days and when she left my dogs did not get groomed until she had her new shop! My dogs have NEVER had a cut or nick anywhere on their body and when my daughters Shorkie is matted and has to be cut very short she is still expertly groomed! (We personally comb our dogs so that they do not go to be groomed in a matted way) and we also take them to Kimberly at least twice a month to prevent this! My best compliment for Kimberly other than her expert grooming skills is her GIANT LOVING HEART for each dog that comes through the door! They are all her "Fur Babies" as she fondly calls them. I live in Hoover and could go to MANY different groomers, but will always take my babies to KIm no matter where she has her grooming studio.

Your 4 are so differant Jasper hyper and bouncey,Dixie loves just to hang out,Dani keeps to her slef and doesn't want to share Darlin with any of the others and has to be by the table while Darlin is being styled or she will cry. It takes just a lil bit of understanding to make the whole process easier. plus always to remind mom about their treat of fries before picking

I took my toy poodle in about ...

I took my toy poodle in about a week and a half ago. He has still not recovered from all the cuts and mangled areas. The lady who grooms, Kim, is very nice, but my dog has suffered greatly from his visit. The main reason for my review is that my dog was so cut up that I had to take him to the vet. I have a poodle, and she shaved him completely bald. She also took all the hair off of his ears. He had a little matting, but not enough to call for being shaved bald. Because she shaved him so low, he had many cuts, especially on his face and ears. The bridge of his nose, for some reason, was shaved almost to nothing, and there was a large bloody spot when we got home. It has now scabbed and is kind of large. At the tips of both ears are large scabs that have collected wax and things from outside. I can't get him to let me clean them because he hurts so bad. Inside his ears, from the plucking was what really caused me to have to get the vet involved. He had so much blood in there, and that has never happened before. He wouldn't stop shaking his head. I looked in, and it was a mess. He has cried and constantly shaken his head around for a week and a half. The vet had to give him some pain meds to help him sleep. He has kept everyone up with the headshaking and crying out in pain. He has never been so mangled. I'm so sorry I took him to her. Ended up costing me $80 at the vet to get him some peace and rest. Not worth it.

I was very upset to see this review with out hearing from or seeing you.We do our best to give everyones baby the same care we give ours. After speaking to you we both agreed Jack Jack didn't leave us with any blood or marks. we also agreed he was very matted along with allot of hair in his ears. after removing that large amount of hair from the ears they will shake their head. If ears are irritated they can shake them till they bleed. I'm very sorry that you are not willing to try us again when he is in good condition. please remember that poodles are in need of grooming every 4-6 weeks instead of 3-4 months.I hope that you will change your mind and give us another visit to see we put allot of heart into our work.

Great care of my Chinese Pug-Teako!! Didn't have to make an appointment - she gathered information before hand about him. Incredible price for all the services rendered!
