EASIER THAN ORDERING A PIZZA! After 3 days of haggling with my local delearship in Montgomery, I was unable to make the deal work. I called Serra Mazda, asked for the sales manager and I was immediatly connected with Paul. I spoke with him about the exact same vehicle I wanted to have the local dealership pick up and bring to me (88 miles). I told Paul that I had already driven the car model, pre-qualified, and was serious about getting the car that day. This was at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday 11/13/12. After a 30 minute phone call ( I had to take a call on other line for 12 minutes, Paul DID NOT hang up)Paul gave me a price that I was happy with and turned me over to Tony B. for finance questions. Still over the phone, Tony B. was able to beat our financing by 2.5%. My husband and I left Montgomery, AL. at 4:45 p.m. We got to SERRA MAZDA at 6:30 p.m. Paul and Tony B. had everything ready for us. The paper work was filled out ready to go and all we had to do was sign. All numbers were as we discussed and they gave me great amount on my trade. We were in the dealership less than 45 minutes and walking out with our new keys. The car had been detailed and filled up prior to us coming. Tony B. gave us the required walk around and information before we left the lot.Real talk, we were back home in Montgomery (88miles each way) before 10:00 p.m. I truly wanted to sleep in my brand new Mazda CX-9 that night.. The car is wonderful, however the experience at this dealership was above and beyond anything I could have expected. I felt so comfortable with Paul and Tony B. This comfort level was established within a 6-hr transaction. Only one of which was actual face to face. I feel like I should have invited them to Thanksgiving Dinner!
Great customer service! Representative was very helpful and customer friendly. Also showed expertise and was knowledgeable about vehicles.
First I want to say that I was pleased with my sales lady Barbara Cook. She was wonderful! My first problem occurred after I signed my papers and they gave me my key.. Only ONE key...wasn't told ahead of time and they wouldn't get another for me so I had to buy one for almost 300.00. After I had been driving my SUV a few weeks the molding on one side of my windshield came undone, after several trips to get it fixed(and it takes me 11/2 hrs round trip) they decided to have a glass person do it. They used Starnes Glass. I noticed a day later that there were dents in my hood right by the windshield, I called my service writer and discussed the problem with her,sent pics and ended up making another trip back to show them. Starnes took no responsibility for the damage and the service manager Chad Wilson said they would not cover it that I should have notified them sooner! And a windshield wouldn't have made those type of dents!I informed them as soon as I saw it!!! Any one with an ounce of common sense can see that dents right by my windshield would come from that! They informed me the windshield was taken out and new molding put in. A few days later the molding came undone on the other side of the windshield!!! I again called and talked with my service writer about getting it fixed and said no way to Starnes Glass doing it again !!! I was informed he had to correct his problem! Told her unacceptable and have sent numerous emails and left messages and no one has called me back in weeks!!!! So I just said forget this drama. Payed for the dents to be removed and had another glass repair person to fix it!
***SEE UPDATE BELOW***I bought an 04 Ford Expedition from Adamson Ford. First, they failed to do all repairs promised me before I purchased the vehicle. Also,I was treated rudely by management, based on information relayed to me from my salesman, when I attempted to back out of the sale because I wanted to wait until I could afford a later model with fewer miles.UPDATE: I was proven totally wrong about Adamson Ford, after speaking directly with a member of management. Mr. Robert Howard personally apologized to me for the way I was initially treated at the dealership. He even made a couple of good will gestures as a demonstration of his sincerity and assured me that the repairs I was promised would be done at no cost to me. Not everyone can admit when they're wrong and I believe Mr. Howard showed a lot of class by doing so. As a leader of the Sales Team at Adamson Ford, I believe he represents this company's unwavering commitment to Customer Service. I was immensely pleased by the manner in which my situation was resolved and I look forward to being an Adamson Ford customer for years to come.I highly recommend Adamson Ford to anyone in the market for a new or preowned vehicle.
Had an air conditioner go out in my new Tacoma covered by warranty. Even with the hottest temperatures and offering of a courtesy vehicle, daily communication and checkpoints made from Hunter on how things were coming with the part we needed on back order. The Service staff from Dennis to Hunter to all who see me in and out for my regular service and maintenance schedules are the highest version of courteous and professional. Customer centric folks!
The people at Adamson made buying a car an unstressful experience. I saw the vehicle that I wanted online...scheduled an appointment for a test drive. I bought the vehicle at what I thought was a fair price without the exasperating high pressure sales tactics many dealers employ.Once we agreed on a price, it was just a few minutes before I was called in to complete the paperwork and I was on my way. This is the way buying a car should be.
I purchased my SUV here and although I like that the sales rep. didn't pressure me to buy my car I didn't like the rip off from the service department. OK place to buy a car here but don't take it here if you need repairs. They ripped me off several times for repairs that they obviously didn't know how to fix. I HATE paying for guess work. Of course I never went back for any repair service I needed.
My car buying experience was absolutely phenomenal thanks to Larry King!!! When buying my 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, he thoroughly met my needs and his professionalism was unbelievable. David Linenfelser is great! He was a pleasure to work with and they, he and the desk manager, were straight with me from the beginning. I have sold cars a three different dealerships in my life so I know a little about the business and I know what David told me was honest and truthful. He knows his stuff.If you want to work with a nice and honest sales person ask for David.
I have been doing business with this dealership for several years now. I have purchased 3 new vehicles here over a 6 year period and have not had a bad experience yet. Kali in the service department 'Rocks'. I always ask for her as my service advisor. She is definitely customer centric when it comes to taking care of her customers.
After figuring out the dodge place here in Tuscaloosa was not willing to deal with me fairly, I decided to look in Birmingham. After speaking with the salesman via thier website, I happily made the 1hr 20min drive and got a better vehicle at a cheaper price. I would recommend Benchmark to any of my family and friends.
