Didn't get our ticket for our meal and the service was awful stood at the register while our waitress talked to the cook instead of talking to the customers asking how our meal was I'm so not impressed with this restaurant and we'll never visit again

We ate there on 8-13 the worst service I have ever had at an IHOP. Our server Tracy H. Was so rude and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. You would have thought it would have killed her to smile. When I complained she went over and was talking about us to one of the other waitresses will never be back.
This Waffle House was by far the worst facility that I have ever been to. The employees were rude from the minute we walked in the door. We had three individual orders and the waitress taking our order had a terrible attitude. We barely placed one order before she turned around to yell our order to the cook. When we placed our second order, she started to argue with another employee because she realized that she was writing in the wrong ticket book. Instead of taking our payments, they stood there for nearly 10 minutes arguing and freaking out about the error. All of the employees completely ignored us while they were arguing over the problem. While we were trying to tell the waitress our order, she stopped us because she needed to wait until we got our orders together because she was not going to have her cook make an incorrect order. But we were just trying to add a side to one of the orders. And in the end, the side order had to be placed on a whole separate ticket because the waitress did not want to add it to the order. When they finally took our cards for the food, the waitress was throwing and slamming the tickets and pen on to the counter. When I filled out one of the tickets, she felt the need to tell me that I "have to put a line or a zero in the tip line to complete the ticket". When we were leaving, we were asking if one of the bags on the counter was ours. The woman didn't even look at us and said, "I don't know where that stuff is going because you told me that they were all going to the same place." All of the employees were incredibly rude. I'm surprised that they had customers dining in with their terrible customer service. Here's a hint, don't yell about your customers when they're standing there waiting for their food.
This location knows what they are doing and the true meanin of customer service. It is very clean, food is always cooked just as ordered and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. This store should seriously be a training unit for all other Waffle Houses - particularly the Alabaster store.

This Waffle House was an incredible addition to the restaurants around UAB Hospital! The area is a dead town for anyone trying to find food after 10pm. Since I work the night shift, this place is invaluable. The employees are always quite friendly and the food has always been good. The police are also always hanging out, so the usual thug crowd from the Waffle House off of University Blvd don't show up. If you're in or around the UAB hospital and need some late night food, Waffle House is the place to go.
