I checked in I came to the room the room stinks the roof leaks there's dirty spots all over the floor the mattress looks like something that they've had for about 30 years or so you can feel the springs in the mattress I am not very pleased with this at all for the price that they charge you for these rooms they should have everything updated in this room they have old outdated things here and it is very nasty and very dirty and I would not recommend anybody stay here whatsoever

While Shelia did not seem overly hospitable on the phone, I am GLAD I did not let that influence my decision to stay with her. Our stay was amazing and the Chaffins’s are incredible hosts with an immense knowledge of Birmingham history and general historical knowledge as well. They were a pleasure to have hosting us. Would recommend to anyone in the north central Alabama area.
I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent staff and a wonderful breakfast! It is located close to the interstate, they also have a large pool and free wifi as well. The rooms were clean and updated. The television was new. All rooms have a Microwave coffee pot, and fridge too.
I stay here a few days a week. I have stayed at the other two nearby, and I like this one best. I usually book online early so that I get a good rate. The rooms are clean, with a mini refrigerator and microwave. I stay in a queen room, which is large enough for me. I haven't tried the double rooms. Occasionally I have trouble with the WiFi, but it is included in the room price (unlike the Motel 6 next door, where it is extra) I like the ground floor rooms so that I can park right outside my room. I am there on business, and not looking for a luxury suite. It is perfect for my needs. Oh and 65 south is very close, so I run my fan on the ac or heater to make sure I don't hear it.
Best stay ever hotel room was clean everything work hotel staff was very friendly they provide all information about area very close to uab hospital they provide settle service with little fee good location we recommend this hotel for family and friends right next to interstate
Super nice people that seem to be concerned about your stay. Clean rooms with plenty of channels on tv. Very solid wifi conections. Convenient location. Variety of restaurants nearby. Comfortably safe feel to it.
This hotel was pleasant, clean and had a decent breakfast for travelers. It's close to a great restaurant--just a minute or two away on the same street. The staff was professional and the front desk service was quick.
My experience was great. We had alot of fun. The pool was clean. The food was good. We had great service
Overall rating 2. Room hasn't been cleaned in two weeks, asked for things to do myself. Someone came finally, keys wouldn't work when I returned. A huge run around to finally get back in an hour later.
This use to be an OK place to stay for a few nights but it has gone downhill since 2015. I stayed at the one in Inverness, AL for 1 night and it was the filthiest hotel I have ever been in. Roaches were everywhere. Food and garbage were out in plain view with no pretending that it could not be seen. Management in Inverness is the worst. Also, wi fi is on and off with 2 bar service. A lot of people down their luck live in this hotel. Do yourself a huge favor and don't waste time stopping here. Several signs that say "NO REFUNDS". I know this is suppose to be for the Oak Mountain Lodge in Pelham, AL but this review is for the one on Highway 280, Inverness, AL. I couldn't find a place to review the Inverness location so I posted it here.
