So u usually eat here & I love the food, but I hate the staff!!! Such jerks! My friends & I sat at the hibachi grill late at night, like 2 hours before they closed & no one else was in there & my friend had never been to a rest. With a grill like that so he insisted we sit there. None of us ordered hibachi because we came for sushi our friend just wanted to sit at a table with a grill. So the waiter comes over & asks us if we are ordering hibachi & we say no. After that th waiter slammed ours menus down threw them in the back when we were done with them. Loudly complained about how we didn't want hibachi & he let our sushi sit up on the counter bar for an extra hour after it was made & just sat there looking at us. I would understand his anger if the rest. Was full & people were waiting to eat at the grill but they weren't & we were the only ones in there. I didn't appreciate the staff & won't go back again. I advise if you love sushi go to itchiban they have all you can eat for 20$ for dinner & 12$ for lunch. Made to order not buffet style. It's amazing!
I have been going to Yuki's for years. It was my fav place to eat and meet friends. They have gone downhill since the remodel. The food prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down. They have even took the vegetables off the hibachi and replaced it with breakfast potatoes. Just NO GOOD. I called to place a "to go" order and asked if they had a website. The lady that answered the phone said they did but she didn't know what it was. I had to ask her to try to go find out and the surprising thing was, no one in the building knew what their web address was. Other than that I've never had any problems with the customer service. Its just the food.
I have eaten at yukis for about the 5 years or so and I have never complained about a dish. On this particular visit I ordered something and didnt like it, it was too salty. Some women came to speak to me about sending me dish back. She looked like she could have been the owner because she was not dressed in uniform. I felt like she scolded me about sending my food back! She stated next time I will have to eat it, she was pissed! She was also extremely rude! Customer satisfaction is def. NOT number one!
