The repair man came on time and performed a thorough inspection of our Kenmore refrigerator. All went well and without a hitch.
Our dishwasher had a "lock" light that prevented the dishwasher from working. After reading the manual and finding no answer and using Sears' chat line, the gentleman said that it sounded like a serious problem. At that point I thought the $222 for the service call that would protect up to $500 in repairs sounded like a good idea.When the serviceman came, he pushed a "top rack" button which had a kid's safety lock engaged and the problem cleared up - 5 seconds -$222 spent.I am upset in getting led by the chat line that this couldn't have been handled then and no mention in the manual about the lockout.This is poor consumer support at two levels.Lee Moench
I needed repair of my 3 year old riding lawn mower. I had a service agreement still in place and Sears honored it without any issue. The repairmen was prompt, courteous and replaced a broken part and had the mower up and running in about 1 hour. Very pleased with the service and the mower is functioning properly now.
Decent. You can find what you are looking for but the store isn't very modern and it's too small. Not my favorite place to shop.
While the problem was fixed, there were no parts needed, just a clogged area of the drain for the dishwasher. It took 45 minutes to fix, but the labor costs were $181? It just seemed way, way, way out of whack for the repair and time.
In January I had my vehicle in for brake eval and was told I did not need brakes. Ever since then I have had horrible grinding sound and rattling when going over bumps. The car was driving so badly I needed to take it to a special mechanic who only works on the make of my car. When brakes were done it was found that caliper bolt had never been put on after sears did the brake eval. I could have had a serious accident driving this car around since January with the caliper invited. Please be aware of the quality of work sears auto center provides.
Two weeks after I dropped off my they haven't fixed nor do they show it as active. Five calls and a visit to the service center. NO HELP REALLY BAD FOLLOW UP.
