If there was an option to leave zero stars I definitely would. After taking my vehicle to a new, honest and reputable mechanic, he looked over my invoices from Top Tech, and informed me that not only did I get charged triple for a timing belt and kit (price confirmed by auto parts shop), but they also charged me for belts not even existent on my vehicle. In addition, they charged me to "repair a tire after they found a nail in it," which coincidentally I overheard them saying the same thing to another customer. I'm not sure if they found me an easy target, seeing as how I am a woman with next to no knowledge of automotive repairs, nonetheless it is very disappointing that there are people in this world that take advantage of someone else's wallet when supposedly offering an honest job. A rough estimate reveals they overcharged me by at least $700, if not more. Please be aware, as it is too late for me to get this money back, but it is not too late for other customers to go elsewhere.

We took a truck in for work. They underbid the project and then when we decided to take it somewhere else when they gave us the real number, they charged us over $2000 for things they had broken/taken apart/lost. Then they threatened to take us to collection for the bill, which we never had received or been made aware of. At no point did they even try to share responsibility for any of it. This is no way to do business.
They lied and charged me for services they didn't complete. They charged me $2500 for the work. It took them 14 days to complete a valve job, oil leak repair and transmission leak repair and they cracked my manifold in the process. They asked me to come back so they could check the work a month after they did the work. They said everything looked good. I brought it to another shop to have the manifold replaced due to the extensive time it took them to complete the original work.The second shop found that t he head was leaking and the oil pan was leaking. When they pulled the head off the gasket was put on upside down, 10 of the 12 valves are leaking, the head was not machined correctly and is not sitting correctly on the block.I called top tech and he said well that just to bad and they were not going to refund any of the money because I should have brought it back to them. I let him know that I am filing a complaint with the department of justice, AAA and file in small claims court. He said well keep the pictures you took of the work you will need them in court.
This was the worst service we have ever received. Had a transmission that was slow to shift from reverse. He rebuilt it and as soon as I got it back it was leaving puddles of tranny fluid everywhere. Found out the main bolt was not tightened and it was overfull. Two months later, just over 1,000 miles we decided to take our annual trip out of state. 800 miles from home the transmission failed (catastrophic failure). He said if he had known we were going to take it out of state he would have done things differently. He would not warranty his work because of where it failed. With towing being $1,200 and hundreds more to get my family back home we had to get repaired where it failed. Asking for some sort of reimbursement for only getting a couple of months of use, we were told, in not so nice of words, we were not going to get a penny. Very demeaning and rude and when mentioning going to court he said it wouldn't be the first time, so apparently he has been through this before. STAY AWAY!
Said they put new parts on. Charged for work they didn't do to the tune of $6500.00. I guess since we were outta town they didn't think we would be back. They also broke things during the repair that we found out when we broke down again. Seriously ripped off!!
I’ve had the privilege of working with personnel at Top Tech for the last 18 months. They have been completing scheduled maintenance and demand repairs on our Qwest fleet. I believe a repair shop should not only complete repairs “right the first time,” take care of any warranty issues and do what they say they’ll do, but also must communicate continually with their customers – Top Tech takes great care of our vehicles and communicates the status of any other issue with me constantly.
I have always had great service at Top Tech. There are not many places like them around, everyone’s trying to find things wrong with your car so they can squeeze extra money out of you, but at Top Tech the manager was helping us find the cheapest solutions to our problems and cut us a really crazy deal on a new set of tires. I’m serious when I say that without them we would not know what to do or where to go. So thank you so much.
I have been going to Top Tech for over 6 years now and those guys have always taken care of whatever I have ever needed! They have dropped at a moment’s notice what they were doing and came to help me in times of need. The waiting room is always clean, plenty of pictures of the owner’s beautiful family (he has 5 children). I would recommend anyone to go to Top Tech for their automotive needs.
The individuals in this company whether in person or on the phone, were professional and courteous in the way they handled our business. I could trust they would have the work done as promised. As always, we had vehicles breakdown that were not prescheduled to be maintained, and Top Tech always managed to squeeze us in to be repaired in a timely manner. Top Tech bent over backwards to help with the rolling stock of our 50 plus vehicle fleet!
They worked past close on a Friday night to make sure I had my car for the weekend. I really appreciate the extra effort they made for me.
