Lori Rubin is an absolute GENIUS for eyebrows. I've been going to her for years and she makes my brows gorgeous every time. Great makeup artist as well.

My girlfriend recommended that I go to Debby Kaplan at NIck Chavez Salon to correct my hair color which was looking tired and streaky and generally off, it was too blonde and not the right kind of blonde.
So off I went to the salon. First let me say how lovely and adorable the salon is, old school in a great way, comfortable, clean and a great location on Burton right in Beverly Hills.
Debby made me feel comfortable right away and we discussed what I was hoping for with my hair color. I did not know this going in but Debby uses a L'Oreal color product that I was unfamiliar with but would now insist on it. The name is INOA by L'Oreal. My hair color is so rich and deep and smooth, it is fabulous. I can't remember all of the wonderful reasons it is fabulous so you should book an appt. with Debby and let her explain it all!

Okay, girls (and maybe even a few boys), iIf you color your hair, EVER, you have to go see Deby. She is without a doubt the very best colorist in all of Southern California.
A friend first went to her with hair that was TRASHED. Deby totally fixed it. Really, you'd never know.
I've been to a lot of people and have had my hair several different shades (from dark brunette to red) and I never was quite happy. Then I went to Deby with her new INOA product (I think that's how it's spelled) and WOW. The color is perfect and the procedure she used to color my hair made it more conditioned, soft and shining, than its ever been. And since the conditioning is coming from the product, it didn't just disappear in a week.
My extremely positive experience then lead me to try a keratin treatment called a ""Brazillian blow out."" I've got some Don King type hair going on and I was hoping this treatment would help. It definitely did make my hair not frizzy (yeah!) and very soft and manageable and I would certainly go back for another treatment when it's time.
Also, Deby uses a keratin product for the blow out with no formaldahyde which I don't want to breathe or have on my head.
So, five stars all the way.
And did I mention Deby herself is so professional and explains everything clearly and works with you and is also so warm and nice and has a first class sense of humor?

Debby is the most personable and friendly hair colorist I could imagine. She used that brand new product INOA which she explained was 100% ammonia free. I showed her a picture of a brownish red color and she nailed it exactly. She explained the procedure, upkeep and exact costs during the consultation. We discussed a Brazilian treatment for a future date and her co-workers assured me that she was meticulous at this. The whole salon experience from the front desk to the shampoo people was A-number one. You won't be disappointed with this salon.
