Quad City Coin Co

Been trying to get into that place for quite some time. They are not open during their posted hours. Wife and I actually saw 2 people in the building and I asked him "Are you guys ever open?" he replied "No, we do better at shows" Well I won't bother to go there again and I had $5000 to spend that I ended up going all over the Quad Cities spending.

Quad-City Coin is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau and as such cannot receive complaints or comments via the BBB which is why they have a BBB rating of "A". If they were actually a member of the BBB, their rating would more likely be a "D" or "F". With that said, my experience with this establishment was the worst I have ever had in any commercial establishment and I am surprised the business is still open. I was offered far less than reasonable value for proof coins I was wishing to sell, and when I refused the offer I was hit with a barrage of swearing and hateful speech. From the other reviews I have read, I am not the only person to have experienced this.

we took several items into get appraised. He said our items where not real silver and had no value. on a whim we took them to another gold silver place on ave. of the cities and they gave us 100.00 dollars for our items. it turned out that our items where almost a hundred years old and indeed had value. If you go to this place...do not take his word on the value of your items...get a second opinion!! Thank goodness we stopped at the other place because we were just going to throw it away cause this guy said it was worthless.
