Overall
where was the cheese and onions?

I was prepared to love this place. I've had the cheesesteaks in Philly and was thrilled to discover there was an 'authentic' place right here in Bethesda. Maybe it was an off night or maybe I just don't know how to order, but I was sadly disappointed.

I ordered the the Works Chicken Cheesesteak and it was awful. It was supposed to have provolone but I couldn't find a smidgeon of cheese anywhere and I love onions...lots of them but I only found one little piece of onion on the entire sandwich. i didn't ask for them, but according to the menu on the sign I didn't have to.

It didn't have a lot of flavor minus the cheese and onions and the bread (while flavorful) was very soggy. This would be excused had there been cheese wiz... but wiz out it...not.

The restaurant was clean enough but in a lot of disarray. It was prime dinner time but it was almost empty.

I may give it one more shot and order the classic cheesesteak ""wit wiz""... and remind them about the onions... but...I think I'm going to have to keep making the drive to Philly if I want the real thing
