Incorporated in 1930, the Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department offers a range of rescue services to nearly 1 million citizens of the Montgomery County in Maryland. It works to control, prevent, limit and combat damages that are caused by fire. The department provides educational programs and fire prevention and suppression solutions. It also offers emergency medical and river and heavy rescue services. The department provides solutions for horse farms, high-rise apartments and office buildings. In addition, it offers evacuation services for water-related incidents. The department works in conjunction with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service. Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department maintains a fleet of trailers, trucks and ambulances.
