Horrible business

Did you know a couple of years ago this business was once Jim Doten Honda? The company was sold and they fired all the employees that have built the business and hired young kids just out of schools with no experience. I have heard horror stories about the service they provide at Berkeley Honda. I have several friend that made the mistake of having their vehicles serviced there. They have complained about the quality of work that was performed, not having the car ready on time as promised, having to return several times for the exact same problem, recommending services that were just done no more than two weeks prior to visiting Berkeley Honda. What a bunch of crooked people. Did you know that all the service writers work on commission? They all have quota's, that's why they lie to you and tell you that you need services that are not necessary. All the vehicles are abused. I have seen the young salesmen eat lunch in the new cars in the reserve lot. I have seen them do power slides into the reserve parking lot and bottom out the new cars in the driveway (pulling up the hand brakes, locking up the rear wheels and sliding into the driveway, where there is a dip in the parking lot causing damage to the tires and the bottom of the new vehicles). I have seen the salesmen sleeping in the new cars during breaks. Not to mention the parts department. What ever happen to customer service? Don't get me wrong, Honda's are great cars before they reach this dysfunctional dealership.

VERY BAD EMPLOYEES

I PRACTICALLY LIVE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM BERKELEY HONDA. I HAVE EXPERIENCED ABUSE TO MOST OF THE CARS FROM THE EMPLOYEES. I WOULD WITNESS THEM BURNING RUBBER IN THE PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET. DRIVING REALLY FAST INTO THE PARKING LOTS, BOTTOMING OUT THE VEHICLES. THEY HAVE PULLED UP HAND BRAKES AND SKIDDED INTO THE PARKING LOT ALSO, I HAVE SEEN EMPLOYEES TAKING LUNCH BREAKS IN THE NEW CARS, JUST LISTENING TO THE RADIO, RELAXING IN THE CARS LIKE THEY OWNED THEM. I HAVE SEEN THEM SMOKING IN THE CARS, AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT CIGARETTES EITHER. I WOULD TRUST THESE CLOWNS, THEIR NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.
