Go in ask for either ray or Toni they are amazing. Best haircut in northwest Arkansas by far. Relaxing shampoo to follow haircut
Jeff trimmed my hair, leaving it way longer on one side plus the cuts were obvious and not blended. I returned and Emily tried to repair the damage. She had to cut a lot off and still couldn't get it right. Now I have it so short above the right ear and below the left ear. I battle with it every day and am hoping it grows out quickly! So disappointed and don't understand why this happened!
I have gone to Mercedes for my cuts and highlights for several years. She is delightful and always gives me expert work.
Quite possibly one of the best experiences we have had. Color Stylist Precia is amazingly talented, extremely professional and kind. After we reached out to the salon for a consult on a color job that was done elsewhere, she made time in the wee hours of the morning to do a color correction for my daughter and made her look and feel beautiful again! Thank you Precia!
Holly gave me the best cut ever!!! She gave me exactly what I wanted. For some reason, a lot of stylists have a difficult time with the angled and stacked bob haircut, but not Holly!! She is fantastic. She took the time and care on making my hair look just how I wanted, the kind of meticulous care as if she was doing her own hair. I have never written a review for any stylist because I always leave feeling disappointed, Holly definitely earned this first review from me. She is fantastic!....seriously, go see her!
I am so disappointed today! First off, My husband had gotten me a gift card for Reflections 5 years ago, I used it, and loved the service. I've been going there ever since and have referred several friends since. Well, this week I had made both of my daughters haircut appointments for today, Friday. All that was available was 2:30pm and the girls get out of school at that exact time. Usually this place is worth doing whatever to get in, so I took them out of school a little early. We arrived on time, Suzanne gets my name and checks us in. We wait a few minutes and the 2 ladies that are cutting the girls' hair come up. One of them pulls up a chair and they chat a couple minutes, then Suzanne informs me that they are going to charge me extra this time. She said she would have to charge a women's cut, $33.00 each, for both girls because it was a large cut job!? One is 7yrs and the other 9yrs. I've been taking them to this salon for years! It's clearly stated on their website that children cuts 7yrs & up start at $15-$20. I'm extremely upset because of the trouble I went to, to take them here and never expected a $12-$18 increase than before. I am willing to pay for a great cut, but the increase is extreme. They made me feel like I wasn't good enough to be there and Suzanne seemed snooty. Perhaps we didn't meet the standards for Reflections today!? I mentioned to Suzanne that I had never paid that for the girls before and her reply was, "sorry". I'm extremely sorry this was the outcome for today, I won't be back and I will be letting people know to be aware of the changes. Finding a good salon is difficult and it sucks to to start over, but possible.
Sarah always does a great job. She's the first person I have been to who actually takes the time to talk about what cut or color would look better and why. Myself, my son (21) and my daughter(28) all use herWe have going there since she opened several years ago.
REVIEW BY KIM CARTER, PART 3: Note: On my 8/24 visit, I tipped TWENTY ($10 for a full set & $10 for a pedi) & on my 9/20 visit I tipped FIVE for my fill. I tip generously even when the service doesn't warrant it (I understand people have bad days sometimes) but I've never experienced such entitled arrogance & abuse! They must be rolling in the dough to think they can insult customers like that. Oh wait, maybe it's the deceptive pricing on their online booking site? Or maybe it's the bait&switch upcharge you don't see coming for a more-expensive-product-you-did-not-agree-to! (If you go, be sure to compare the online booking price to what he actually charges you.) -- Anyway, whatever this salon does to make its money it won't be getting any more of mine! And Dan certainly doesn't need it because he told me loud & clear! THE END (Sorry this is so long).
REVIEW BY KIM CARTER, PART 2: Then I asked him why he charged me $33 for my 9/20 fill, when I booked online for a "$18 regular fill" & he said he used a higher product called Solar (?) instead. I didnt book/ask for that! I explained I didn't want to look for another salon but his prices were too high to be treated so badly. Then he says loud so everyone could hear "I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I GOT MORE CUSTOMERS AND I DON'T NEED YOU!" So, as I stood up to leave (with my newly-naked nail) I said "It's obvious you don't care & you're going to see that reflected in my review." CONTINUED....
REVIEW BY KIM CARTER, PART 1: I first went to BSTAR on 8/24 & Dan the owner was my nail tech (I booked online for a pedicure & full set). I asked him to do my nails thick so they'll not break (I've had my nails done this way for 20+ yrs just fine). Ten days later 9/3 my left thumb nail broke & I had to crazy glue it. -- Then I go again 9/20 for a "fill" & just 8 days later, 9/28 another nail broke. So, I go online & book a $5 nail repair for 9/29. -- So, on 9/29 I told him I wanted my nail much thicker like I previously asked & explained how I've only been to him twice & each time a nail broke. He began arguing that his products can't be used how I want & I shouldn't be so rough with my nails. I told him I'm VERY careful & I've never had breakages like this because my past nail techs did my nails thick like I ask. I told him I wasn't asking for a miracle nor being unreasonable to want thick nails & his prices were too high to result in nails continuing to break. CONTINUED....
