This really is a scam. I spent $500 for 2 year contract. We made one photo picture shot in year one, and just gave up in the second, because the picture quality is no much better than I can do in home. It is just waste of time. We have never heard a word about to join a show or event, or whatever. Hope this will teach everyone a lesson. Also, may cheaters be judged in the end.

This really is a scam. I took my daughter here twice and paid the $500 photo fee (and renewed the photos a year later). I kept following up with the company over the two years and they refused to answer basic questions. They refused to show me the photos they were using for my daughter in their portfolio and could not tell me anyone who had looked at the photos. After repeated inquiries, I discovered that they never included my daughter in any "talent book" or any other opportunities to get chosen for any bookings. They did not show her video or photos to anyone, at any time, over the two years. It would have been impossible for her to get selected for any work. What this company does is charge a large fee for photos, period. I'd be interested in finding out if anyone has ever received any work from the company because I highly suspect they don't work with any casting companies at all. As far as I can tell, it's a complete scam. I didn't even get any copies of the photos for my money, as they promised me! I got nothing - just a huge loss of time and money and a little girl whose hopes got crushed, which is a shame because countless people have told us that she should be modeling, singing, and acting.
My daughter has been with this company for two years now. I wouldn't call it a fantastic investment, nor would I call it a complete waste of money. What I can say though, is they have done exactly what I was told they would do, and at a reasonable price . My daughter has been to several auditions, and a few callbacks, and has enjoyed the experience. No, she hasn't been picked for anything or become the next big Disney star, but she was never promised anything like that. I would recommend this company strictly for parents with kids who love performing, love any chance they can get to shine, and enjoy each opportunity whether they get chosen or not. If you're looking for your kid to be a huge star, move to LA and find a Hollywood agent.
Audition Division Limited is superb at what they do. Our portfolio turned out exquisitely and will be cherished forever. Their skill and experience flowed with comfortable certainty and made the whole experience enjoyable. This is the place to go for professional competence unmatched by non-professionals. Professionals that do professional work.Raddad
I sent my son through the child modeling process with AUDITION DIVISION. From the beginning, throughout, the staff were pleasant and professional. They were great with the children. The contract terms were direct, reasonably priced(and plenty for the buck). They only promise to present your child in the best possible light. AND THEY DO. The comps look great. They do all the foot/phone/computer work in your child's behalf. THEY DO NOT ASSUME POWER OVER THE CHOICES OF THE INDIVIDUAL COMPANIES' PRODUCERS. It's based on your child and their abilities and their 'fit' for a job. PUNCTUALITY AND COURTESY matter. Each offer or contract is yours to accept, or not. There's No Strangle Hold on the child or your wallet. You feel good about working with them. Your child Grrrows and maybe even makes a few dollars and/or contacts. FIVE Starrs! A JEWEL IN THE CHILD MODELING AGENCY INDUSTRY!
I've done a lot of research myself and this is what I found. The agency is required to be licensed by the state, it's not an option. Agency License costs hundreds of dollars not $25. I talked to the lady agent they work with in Chicago, tylermgmt.tv, and she said she likes to see the kids on a demo for monologues and little kids for personality and working with a director. They are not industry requirements but helpful to her before she submits kids for auditions. Her phone works, she's the owner, and she is not defunct as some parents said. They tell you everything upfront. Some agencies refer you to a high priced photographer, charging you $800 to $1500 for comps per year. This place is a lot lower, and they tell you clearly you can get your own if you want. The building and furniture looks a little old, but that's about it. No scam to me.
Audition Division Ltd is a great place to get new talent started! They give young performers the tools needed to break into the business. Tyler Mgmt. has discovered many great talents through Audition Division LTD. Tyler Mgmt. is a private company so, finding us easily on the internet is not ideal. As we are referral only. If you would like to know more about us please check out: Tylermgmt.tv
I took daughter there and she passed audition. They tested 2 kids at the same time. The other kid didnt pass ..on the spot. Was kinda shy I think. After meeting with agent we were givin a choice as to where to get comp cards and demo tape.We went home to think it over and get prices..(no pressure at all) with studios.Audition Divisions price was a heck of alot less so I went with them. The director/photographer was a blast and my kid was really relaxed. They are even giving me a CD of the comp card if I want to multi list. Great place in my book.
As the owner and manager of ADL my goal is to have satisfied customers. I've seen here recently 2 very unhappy Mom's. For 40 years our kids have auditioned and been placed in National advertising, motion pictures, and commercials. The composites and demo DVD's have always been useful in getting kids looked at by people in advertising before they go in person. Every parent is told if the child is accepted, they can buy the comp cards anywhere they want. No one is forced to buy our pictures. Most people are very happy with the pictures and like the way the director works with kids on the videos. Our prices are way below anywhere else. I show samples of our comps to parents before they register, so they know what they look like. If someone wants a re-shoot, we will gladly do that for them at no charge. We want the customer happy. I don't understand how someone wouldn't call us if they hated the outside of the building, the inside of the building, the interview, hated the pictures, the video. Why not call us? We want to make it right for you. By the way, the agency you say doesn't exist recently got our kids auditions for Walmart, American Lung Association, the new hit show on NBC "Chicago Fire", a network pilot, and a major picture. Our kids do get opportunities, but no agency can guarantee being picked.
I am a producer that has worked with Audition Division for over 20 years. This is a hard business to get into and at times parents get a bit "stagedoor" wanting their kids to be no 1 in everything they do.ADL has been around for 40 years..licensed by the State and a member in good standing with the BBB.If a child is auditioned ..and accepted the Agent has a meeting with parents and explaines everything. They tell the parents before the testing that composites are needed if child passes.ADL offers (at times) to do work if parents do not know where to get them ,or have connections.THE PARENTS HAVE THE OPTION TO GET THEM ANYWHERE THEY WANT. The contract states they do not guarantee placement. If a parent is not happy with pics they will redo if asked. As far as Tyler mgmt....She was a top agent for the Geddes Agency and when Geddes closed the Chicago office to go to LA she took over accounts....so nothing has changed as far as placements.BTW they also GIVE the artwork of composites to parents so they can multilist with other Agencies if they choose. Not one Agency in Chicago does that! I think what they do is great for kids!
