This place is reasonably priced and very casual. I have read the comments on both sides,and have come to the conclusion that Tony and his sister are very nice and helpful while they r getting money,but when it comes to refunds , forget it. I have been taking my grandchildren there for several months now. I have always prepaid each month! They r very helpful taking money. But we missed a class , and by the time I found out we could make it up,It was too late. Last week we were unable to attend ,so I called twice to ask what I needed to do to make it up. No one ever called me back.so I went in tonight, the 30th,and was told the missed day has to be made up in the month it is missed. Thats convenient,for them! And they so much as called me a liar when I said I called twice. I've also overheard rude things said about others. And saw tony's sister grab a 4 yr old roughly for running. She has also been rude to me a couple times. I liked the location of the gym,but not sure i will ever go back there! Also,parking is a major problem. They may have lost a paying customer over my wanting to make up a missed class,2 kids is $30. Tony complains about money,well Tony ,you aren't the only one having a tough time,the economy is terrible. I am raising my grandchildren, and missing those 2 nights,2 kids, is like throwing $60 out the window. I didn't even want a refund ,I wanted my kids to get a class that was already paid for. Prepaid. So they get 2 stars. 1 star for being close to home,and 1 star for instructors my kids liked.
Would NEVER recommendMy daughters attended this school for classes. I gave a deposit for my daughter’s 5th birthday party to be held at the school. I spoke directly to the owner, Tony, to set up all the details. He provided me with a receipt for my party deposit and ensured me that it would be a good time. Two weeks prior to the party, someone other than Tony that the facility had sustained damage from a hurricane and the facility would be closed for renovations notified me. When it was brought to the employee’s attention that we had a party scheduled in the next 2 weeks, she suggested we call back the following week to see if there was an ETA as to when the facility would re-open. We did just as we were told and called the following week and spoke to Tony (the owner). He told us that he would not be re-opened in time for the party. We have made 3 written requests and left a message requesting the return of our deposit and ALL requests have gone unanswered. There is no reason as to why our deposit should not be returned since party was never held and was not cancelled by us. I seriously question the ethics of this school. I do not believe that this facility practices responsibly and would not recommend or feel comfortable giving my hard-earned money to this school. Given the amount of money that it can cost to have your children participate in classes, training, and competitions, you should have higher expectations of management than what Tony can offer.
Tony is willing to work with any organization to get teams the training they need. Reasonable prices and convenient schedules help alot. Also, he has several different programs to choose from and i s willing to listen to suggestions for new programs and classes. He will try to make accomodations for any team that needs floor time.
