So far so good. I have taken my boat to 3 other shops and they all made my issues worse. Today they got me in and out so that my boat sound system is functional. I know have the oppertinity to come back and fix some deeper issues as needed. Great staff and took the approach of fixing my system based on my budget and time frame.
I went to Sounds Fast to get new led lights as my right side wasn't working properly. After the installed, the right side was still poor. I went back to tell them, they told me it was my headlight assembly. (Why did I spend $500 in the first place to just have to tell me something else is wrong after I paid!) They gave me the same basic answers about my headlights without actually looking at them. "It's because it is a projection headlight, these won't work well with them" (Why would you sell them to me then!?) The left side then started to flicker. Tried to set up appointment but they were always 3-4 weeks out. After I finally got in there with an appointment, they took the car in the back and told me the part they installed had failed. I'm thinking, okay, great! Replace the bulb and install the new headlight assembly that I bought and I'll be on my way. Nope, not that easy. I guess the really expensive lights that they convinced me to buy were out of warranty and can replace them at a cost. (Why would I send $500 on lights to only last 1 year!? That's absolutely ridiculous!) He offered to install my new headlight assemblies at no charge. Great, at least I'm getting something. After getting the car back, they simply just installed the new lights without transferring any of the $500 lights I paid for. Why would I not want the better lights in my new assembly!? I was very clear as to what I needed and wanted done. Now I have a car with basic headlights, the $500 set still sitting in the back of my truck and totally out the money I paid to fix a problem that ended up failing faster then I could even get good use out of them. Poor service, sales tactics that tricks the consumer, false upfront information about warranty, over priced and not knowledgeable about what works and what won't work in certain vehicles. Do yourself a favor and do not go here. You think you get good service and parts with how expensive they are but you will not. Shop smart
My Girlfriend wanted to buy me a new CD player for x-mas, I went to Sargent's pick it out with a new install kit, came to $220.00. I got it Christmas day and installed it my self. I was having issues with the blue tooth right away, It did not want to link sometimes, than one side of my speakers stopped working, I tore it a part thinking a wire came loose, turns out it has a bad RCA on the front left RCA jack. I called and explained the issue to owners wife, she was SO RUDE! I went there in person ans she was just as RUDE, her Husband was there and in the middle of a install would not ever give me the time of day! she looked up my info and cause I installed the deck my self It has to be shipped to Pioneer to be fixed, Are you kidding me? this is what I get for buying local and NOT off ebay! I said I just want my money back than, she said there's a 15% restocking fee, I now get $170.00 back for my $200.00 deck my GF bought me LESS THAN A MONTH OLD! I walked out and said I will taking the deck out and bringing it back! I will NEVER EVER do business with Sargent's Stereo again! HORRIBLE customer service! and they DO NOT back there product, STAY AWAY!
