Tasty, healthy vegan food!! The grilled peaches were the perfect compliment to the burger.
Popped in here for a quick bite while visiting from out of town and it was an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly. Adrian the bartender took great care of us on the patio. She shared in conversation and really made us feel welcomed. The owner John was so friendly. He checked in us regularly and made our experience too notch.
La Magie has been the absolute worst experience I could have imagined. In a nut shell: the cake decorator called the night before I needed my cake, telling me to change my cake and frosting or to go somewhere else, was rude and unhelpful. When I picked up my cake it wasn't correct, and they overcharged me! I surely will be going elsewhere next time, I only wish someone had told me the type of business that La Magie runs, so I could have avoided this overpriced headache.
I have heard and read so much about this place that I finally stopped in on a Tuesday Morning (Too many people on the weekends - you will wait forever, I hear) to try it out. My business partner had the omelet and I ordered the St Jacque Benedict. After 35 Minutes the meal(s) Arrived. She reported her omelet as delicious. I with I could have said the same for the Benedict..... It was COLD and GREASY. Took 3 bites and gave up. The waitress was less than pleasant and didn't offer any solutions, rather she completely ignored us. So I sat for another 25 minutes, with an unfit meal to eat and not even a refill on my water.Came time to leave. Took my credit card and came back - I asked her why I was being charged for a meal that was unfit to eat? She got pretty snippy at this point. I asked to speak to the manager - her reply was "You have no say-so about this". I told her that I was willing to pay for the other meal (the Omelet) but would not authorize a transaction to pay for both. She would not back down. So, I didn't sign the credit authorization and left, only to find out an hour later, they pushed the charge through anyways, for the FULL amount. Since I didn't authorize the charge(s), this would mean they would have to commit credit card fraud.Will have to take it up with the bank, for they are (so far) unresponsive to my request(s) to speak to the owner/manager.
WE had quite a large party 16 but the service was bad. first it took 30 minutes for the waitress to come and take our order but it took even longer to get our order and when we did it was cold. SO this tells me that there was something wrong with management. outside the kitchen and inside the kitchen. We will never go back there again.
