My family and I went to Dr. Young for a little under a year. Dr. Young told my husband on several occasions, as he did "adjustments" on work already completed and paid for (crowns) that there was no charge....yet somehow we always got billed for an office visit anyway. When we would tell his billing staff that there would be no charge, per Dr. Young, they would insist on payment for our part (and our insurance was billed as well). So either Dr. Young makes promises he cannot keep or one hand does not know what the other hand is doing in this practice. My husband had to have several adjustments to work Dr. Young completed, and now he has been diagnosed with severe TMJ by his ENT physician due to his bite being altered by those crowns. In addition, my husband and I separated a year ago; I called the dental office and told them Iwas moving to Texas and to send any mail to my Belton, MO, address as the post office would forward it. They said they would make a note of it. My husband received one bill a couple of months ago for the balance on my bridgework, which I paid for in advance of the work done. Evidently after the fact they found additional items to charge me for and by the time I found out it was in COLLECTIONS. I always pay my bills....I have a credit rating of 820....so imagine my surprise. I called Paige at the dental office and she said all mail and calls went to a certain address. I told her I have never lived at that address and if they had just sent my bill to the Belton address, as requested, the bill would have been paid a year ago. She was very argumentative and continually interrupted me. Of course I paid the bill. WARNING to anyone seeing this dentist or thinking about it....they will give you an amount that you need to pay and later find things to bill you for. Also, Dr. Young is nice but does not communicate with his office staff very well. We were told no charge on three occasions and were billed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE.
