I brought in some things a few days ago and was surprised by the rudeness of the proprietor My items were clean, folded or freshly pressed, but when I informed her that I didn't intend to have her donate those things she did not select, her attitude quickly changed. Although she did consign a number of my things, when I went back to pick up those she did not select, clothes were just thrown in a box all twisted and wadded up. Needless to say, I was not impressed!

No effort is made to group higher end or designer items together. No party or celebration clothing assembled in easily identified areas. All "black dresses" grouped together on a rack or racks, whether they are Vera Wang or Target or Walmart goods. Had I known this, I would have given my goods to those who might find a use for them, or donated them to the Assistance League or other service organizations. In general, quantity does not mean quality here. This is evidently a "get it in" operation, and hopefully, if you are lucky, it will eventually be sold from the over-loaded, disorganized racks. There has to be a market for better quality goods, even in "this is Bellingham," the city of subdued excitement. Next lot of clothing I will take to Seattle or perhaps even Vancouver, where they appreciate excellent quality.
I love Labels, they have a great selection with very reasonable prices. In my opinion...the best consignment store around the Bellingham area.Debi Hartshorn Peterson
A very good place to buy clothes that are in good condition and fairly priced from very nice helpful folks.
