Prices are great but because of the service and the people who work there I will never every buy a part from them again because of how he treated me over the phone! I called in 3 different time and got so much attitude and bad service from them I could not believe this place is still in business the way that they talk to people. Then when I asked for their name they didn’t even want to give it to me. I finally spoke with a man name Hons and got even more attitude and treated me as if I was stupid I will never come here again and discourage anyone else from doing so!
Very low prices on all of their auto parts. Can't find an auto parts store where they sell them lower and if there is Clarks can beat out there prices with an offer that cannot be refused. I was able find all the parts or my 1989 camry and they assisted me in installing my new parts.
It's a very resourceful store. Great online website that makes shopping and looking for parts that much easier. Good customer service that helps you out when you need help and can also assist you over the phone or in person. Ordered my parts online and was able to pick them up the next day at the store.
Very convenient store, open on sundays with a lot of parking space that doesnt get over crowded like many other auto parts stores and good customer service. Lines can get a little full but move fast with the help of all the employees. Just be ready to know what you need help with so the lines can keep advancing.
In regard to Clark’s Discount Auto Parts:
I went to Clark’s back in July of 2011 to purchase a part for my vehicle. They said it would be a special order and that I had to pay $10 extra for shipping, and it would take 3 days. The next morning I called the manufacturer of the item from the receipt just to check if it was the right one, and was told by them that it would not work.
Right after that I called Clark’s and told them to cancel because they sold me the wrong part for the year and model of my vehicle and the manufacturer has said it would not work properly. They said the part was already there and ready to pick up, and refused to give me a refund even though it would not work.
I saw that it was written on the Receipt "ALL SPECIAL ORDERS FINAL" after the purchase. I still feel that I had a reasonable expectation to be sold the correct part for my vehicle, and if they sell something that according to the manufacturer won't work, they should take it back.
When I told them the situation over the phone and they refused to make it right, the person that I spoke to said "People like you are what's wrong with America". These guys are real Jack Holes who do not give a Rats Tail about their customers. All they care about is money.
This place is horrible, it's so bad that the good comments on here were clearly written by the people working there. The customer service is bad, the workers look as though they have a bad attitude. I bought a part there and it didn't even work. Exchanging the part was frustrating because I ordered the part again they told me what time to come back and pick it up, came back and they told me to come back later again. I'm writing this review to prevent you from wasting your time at this auto part store. Save yourself some time by not coming here.
Best in the area: Clarks has been around for many years and is used by the home mechanic as well as the professional for parts and information. They are always helpful, reputable, knowledgeable, and very well known in the area. If they don't have it, which is rarely, they know who does
EVERY TIME I CALL FOR A PART THEY SAID THAT THE HAVE IT AND WHEN I GET THERE I HAVE TO MAKE A HOUR LINE WAIT AND AT THE END THEY TELL ME THAT THEY LOOK IT UP WRONG AND THE PRICE CHANGE . PLUS THEY HAVE TO ORDER. AND AT THE END IT THE WRONG PARTS AFTER ALL. ILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE. BAD COSTUMER SERVICE THEY EMPLOYEES ALWAYS HAVE BAD ATTITUDE .
