If you're getting scammed by PLP like so many others, file a small claims court case, then Consumer Protection Agency, FTC, TransUnion/Equifax and BBB. Small Claims court will only try your case if you're able to be physically present. Forget trying to work through City of Bellevue mediation. PLP will just blow it off. WA Attorney General's office doesn't want to do anything for anyone,, ever. Bump it up and sic some federal agencies on PLP.
These people are a bunch of jokes. For months they sent my mail to the wrong address and then started tacking on late fee after late fee due to THEIR MISTAKE. After repeated attempts to reconcile their error, they kept telling me that the problem was mine because they "had communicated the fee." Apparently they want people to also be telepathic to use their services. Terrible company with awful customer service.
Not good. We had them for a while and they changed community managers quite often. Didn't do a good job......
COMPLETELY unprofessional!!! Accepted an appraisal and waited 9 days to decide he wanted to decline it, and in the mean time refused communication with the lender and selling agent after numerous attempts to get a hold of him for a status update! I would never do business with this company again!
I have moved several times and had many different landlords/property management companies. Brink impressed me right from the start. The office staff is very friendly and timely. They take care of maintenance request quickly and keep you in the loop. As always, read your lease carefully and ask questions.
Reporting to the Better Business Bureau for the way they have handled our move out and security deposit. We rented through Brink for 2 ½ years. My Fiancé and I just purchased a home and since our contract does not allow us to sublet we put in notice to terminate our lease. We gave them ample time and were corporative throughout the entire move out process. We paid April and May’s rent while they searched for a replacement. During that process the owner of the condo we were renting decided not to re-rent through Brink Property Management. When they found out they did not re-fund us the pro-rated portion of May’s rent and still charged us a “re-leasing” fee and said we owed them over $400 beyond the $1,100 security deposit we paid up front. We asked them review our statement and they responded that it was fair and did not address any reason why they did not owe us back money for May’s rent. As a new home owner I would never recommend this company. If you plan to rent your house I’m sure you would be better with another agency. If you are looking to rent through them beware.
Acacia Property Management continues to do a good job for me. They found my first renters before I even moved and they moved in only a few days after we moved out. They were great renters who paid promptly. Our property manager ensured that the home was kept in good condition and provided us with regular inspection photos and updates. When these renters bought a home and gave notice to move, our property manager did it again! The new renters were able to move in the day after the old tenants left. Thanks for the good work Acacia!
Kappes Miller is truly the worst Condo Management company I ever experienced. I had to work with them as a HOA board member and can only recommend to everyone to stay away from them / drop them. Their services include:- "Innovative Accounting"- The magic act of disappearing representatives (without the board being notified)- Bullying of board members- Unresponsive executives- And as grand finale: Unauthorized payments of HOA funds to themselves! The one good thing about them: Whichever management company you go with after/instead of them, will be better, no matter what!
This is a Great management group that has always answered my tenants and my phone calls. I recommend them!
