BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
They had Martha Stewart Specialty Paint on Clearance at all Home Depots. When I went in to buy it at the price they were selling the paint at the other stores. The assistant Manager Joel Tousley, refused to let me buy the last 3 cans of paint at the price the other stores were selling it for. Apparently the manufacturers took the Martha tinting colors away and left the paint, so you cannot get the paint tinted or mixed at Home Depot. I explained all this and the jerk still would not sell me the paint for the clearance price they are selling the paint for at two other stores. He said we want the most money we can get out of it. I told him he sucked and asked for his credentials. Just know if you spend your money here and have any issues, the customer service sucks.

After spending nearly $10,000 with Home depot, in a months time. My Son-in-Law was told he could not purchase anything and was locked out....He and my daughter waited to find out what was going on?? And the Clerks they delt with didn't have answers or any knowledge as to why. They continued to wait and finally were told they ""They could not shop there for 90 days.""....And it was due to having a few returns with no reciept....However they were given In Store Credit, and put the money right back IN THE STORE.....My Son-in-Law is a respectable young man and a General Contractor......Needless to say, He will not be doing business with Any Home Depot in the future. And they lost a Great Contractor who's busy year around and makes pretty big purchases... Lowes here they come!

love the store, the people there are all great selection wonderful. But it has happened twice now, i get a bunch of keys cut (I am a realtor), then when out at the homes not just one does not work but twice, all 3 copies did not work. when i put the keys on top of each other there is a little added bump here or there. the guy even said last time, keep your receipt in case they don't work! so now i go to ace hardware on the plateau, I have gone there on and off for 18 years! and never had a key that did not work.

Derogatory comments to customers
The assistant manager John and the painting associate Rachel refused to admit their mistakes in mixing the paint with the wrong base and in the wrong color. When not able to convince the customer, John ignored the customer and asked Rachel ""Do you understand what she's saying?"" Rachel was trying to play advocate and answered ""No"". As an asian woman, I found the above question and attitude derogatory and contemptuous. This is not how customer service should be.
Poor integrity to hide mistakes
They finally agreed to refund part of the paint and mark down some others. I had to bring the rest of the paint to the Seattle store for a full refund.
The Bellevue store was trying to hide their own mistakes and let the Seattle store fix their problems.
Poor paint quality
The Home Depot Behr paint (premium plus in eggshell sheen) chips off easily when compared with other local paint store like Parker Paint. I would not consider buying paint from home depot again. I'll go where the pro goes.
Most products are more expensive than Lowes and there is not as much variety.
